Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect for my 682 gold
I was weary when I read some reviews but I bough this case and I like this case. So much better than the plastic one my shotgun came with. I like it even more since it's a little smaller than the plastic case. Nice clips secure the case closed. Separating the forearm piece from the barrel just means...

Most Helpful Negative Review beauty can be skin deep
it's a pretty case, seems fairly sturdy structurally, fits o/u with 28" bbl well. problem is, while it does an adequate job of protecting guns inside it from dents and dings, it apparently absorbs water like a sponge--little or no water resistance as shipped. so, if a water bottle were to leak in ...

Great transaction and product pricing

by TravelnmaninMD, from MD, United States Written on August 23, 2023
Product delivery earlier than the estimated timing with excellent shipping and packaging. Beretta gun case exactly as described. Overall very smooth and efficient transaction. Pricing also more competitive than offerings from other retailers

Not made for a Trap grade

by bgffxstc, from PA, United States Written on April 2, 2017
Case will not fit a trap grade, lid will not close with out forcing. The quality of the case is good but the fitment is way wrong. I have a 686 trap grade and it will only fit in case if i force lid closed. The front piece will not fit in supplied compartment. So must be attached to barrel then put in case. The choke tubes do not fit in holders.Just need to be noted on instructions what this will fit.

Great Shotgun Case

by MFDC, from VA, United States Written on March 2, 2017
I finally bought the case after being confused about the forearm issue so I wanted to fill-in details about the size of the compartments. This is for the single barrel case. The top barrel compartment comes with three spacer blocks. 2 small separate blocks and an arrangement of 2 1-1/4 blocks glued to a baseplate. All are removable leaving this compartment a tad over 32.5" long. My Silver Pigeon V 20 gauge needed the breach split block and one solid block for it's 28" barrel + extended Mobil chokes. My 686 Onyx 28" barrel + Briley extended fits with the forearm/forend attached so width isn't an issue.
The contested fore-end partition is better used for a choke case. The Beretta choke case fits perfectly. This space is 10" x 4.33" (25.5cm x 11 cm exactly) it has a square compartment making this an odd shape. My SPV 20 gauge forend fits perfectly here but not the 686 12 gauge forearm. A forearm placed in here has nothing to keep it from flopping around and would be better used for other things

The interior is very well appointed and looks like it's hold-up well. No wrinkles on mine.

Stock compartment fits both my stocks and has some leather/pleather to protect the oily areas and includes a velcro retaining strap.

Exterior is a hard green canvas with "Beretta" stitched in blue. Leather or pleather corners with a leather handle. Brass locks are not terribly heavy duty for air travel etc. More a range/storage case. Well made and great value. Five stars if it had a few more spa...

Pretty nice case

by MrMan, from OK, United States Written on August 5, 2016
Fits my 28ga Silver Pigeon just fine. Inside material is a little wrinkled, though not enough to be unsightly. Not sure about the shape of some of the compartments, but, overall a pretty nice case. Some reviews say the forearm doesn't fit. Well, my does but that may be because it is a 28ga. Much better than the cheap plastic case it came with.
Pros:
  • Looks good
  • good protection
Cons:
  • None

Size specific

by GH, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on October 7, 2015
Net interior dimension is 11" x 32-1/2" x 2-3/4". The barrel slots will accommodate and adjust to lengths from 30" without extended chokes to 32" with competition chokes installed. Receiver will easily fit in the proper partition. Forearm must not be attached to barrels and must be placed in it's own partition as seen in picture. My Stoeger Competition's forearm would not fit in the very small partition designated for the forearm. To ensure a forearm will fit properly it may not be more than 9-3/4" long.

Like all Beretta products, this case is well made. Had no complaints regarding shipping, packaging, nor quality. Many of the spare partitions are odd size and will not fit Briley or MTM choke cases, cleaning kits, etc. If I had an opportunity for a do-over, I'd purchase a Negrini NGR-GB-1603IS-2C-4782 2-barrel case (Optics Planet code) or a Bulldog OG-GB-BD557 single barrel case (Optics Planet code).

If you own a Beretta O/U maybe, if not go a different direction IMO.
Pros:
  • Quality for price point
Cons:
  • Proprietary Sizing
Best Used for:
  • Beretta O/U size
