Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent sight with matching customer service
I purchased this sight from a different vendor for my M1a. I have no experience with Prismatic sights and had many questions. Before making this purchase I called Bering Optics directly and spoke with Brandon. I highly recommend giving him a call for any product questions you have. Brandon is ex...

Most Helpful Negative Review Good/not good
This was a nice product and it seem to work fine. The illumination was adequate for indoors. I think for the money it's a really good rd and probably the best you can get for the price. The only problem I had with it was it's a little too bulky.

Nice prismatic for the price

by Rich, from CO, United States Written on April 25, 2020
Bought mine a few years ago. Is heavy duty construction. Mount is solid. Right height for flat top AR to get proper eye relief. Thought the reticle was going to be blurry at first, but got the adjustment set on the ocular piece and it is crisp and clear. Love having both green and red. Wide range of brightness settings. Windage and elevation knobs have nice audible clicks when adjusting. Took off the little rail mounts as they were of no use to me and just added more weight.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Construction
  • reticle
Cons:
  • weight
Best Used for:
  • Close and medium range

Bad reticle

by Charles, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on March 28, 2020
This was probably just one bad one in the bunch. Out of the box, the red reticle was blurry and showed a triple image rather than crisp lines. Additionally, the reticle itself was very, very small, making the crosshairs surrounding the circle almost useless to the eye. This would have been a good choice for my AR, especially for the low price. However, low price on a bad reticle or scope is still a bad scope. I will stick to name brands in good optics going forward.
Pros:
  • low price
Cons:
  • Bad reticle
Best Used for:
  • AR-15

Bering optics prismatic Supra 3.0x32

by Joe Shooter, from CA, United States Written on December 21, 2019
Ordered from optics planet on a Saturday night had it by Tuesday afternoon. Put it on my American Rifle, went to the hills and was hitting the target at a 160yards right out of the box! Works great for me! I’m just a old target shooter with eyes going bad and this was my first optic ever. Very satisfied .
Pros:
  • GREAT PRICE
  • great prices
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • Hitting the mark

Exceptional Product

by Maxcaliber, from TX, United States Written on July 18, 2019
Received this scope within a week. Well packaged. A Little bit heavier than expected, but great quality and made to last. Came with extra battery, lens cloth and installed lens covers. It looks great on my AR-15. I'll know how good it works after I have fired 200 rounds of 5.56. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, well made and great aesthetics. This is the one to buy.
Thanks Optics Planat for having a terrific product at a great price.
Pros:
  • Looks, function, use.
Cons:
  • heavy,
Best Used for:
  • Target, under 300 yards

Great optic, especially for the price.

by Hossie, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on February 28, 2019
I decided to buy this because I have astigmatism and dot (spark) sights just don't well for me. I initially zeroed it at 50 yards and I was still able to hit the smaller bullseye on the target at 100 yards. I then zeroed it at 100 yards and then shot the rest of the magazine fairly quickly and accurately.
Pros:
  • Accurate
  • Easy to zero
  • Easy to adjust and install
  • cost effeciant
Cons:
  • reticule is a bit small

Bering Optics Supra 3x32 prismatic sight

by J, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on October 30, 2018
I haven't mounted the sight to anything yet, but my overall first impression is very positive. It is a little on the large side, but it feels pretty solid. My favorite feature is the etched reticle, making it a little less reliant on batteries.

Bearing optics prismatic Supra 3.0 x 32

by Willy, from KY, United States Written on October 14, 2018
Nice sight so far. Clear and easy to get zeroed in. Well worth the money. So far I can't find any faults. Not sure if the drop compensator is going to be useful but it's not a hindrance either. As of now the etched glass is great. I've not used the red or green light yet.

Lotta bang for your buck

by MetalChef, from TX, United States Written on April 10, 2017
Not very experienced with scopes. Bought this after some research to replace an eotech on my AR I had since purchasing the rifle, but never really liked. Was on a budget and it was down to this prismatic and a Burris unit. Bering Optics won out due to being the most affordable while having all positive reviews, and the fact that they are based in Texas. Out of the box the unit felt solid, and looked good to boot. The adjustment knobs were tight and had a felt click, the glass is very bright and clear and the 32mm tube made for ample sight picture, I really liked the etched reticle, and the illumination far exceeds what I was expecting for the cost. Finally got a chance to get out to the range and it zeroed in 5-6 rounds at 25. 1-2 inch groups at fifty and 3-4 inchers at 100. Not blowing minds but my eyes are giving out on me and it is only 3x magnification. Couldn't be happier with this optic.

Great scope

by Billbdl, from AZ, United States Written on March 25, 2017
I'm very happy with this scope. I'm an inexperienced shooter but I found it pretty easy to zero in. Very accurate out to 100 yards. I did discover the same issue that another reviewer mentioned and that is make sure you tighten all the allen head screws under the scope as they will come loose as soon as you start shooting.

A little big

by wardog, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 11, 2017
The sight seems to work well. I put it on a HK USC 45ACP, zeroed it at 26 yds. It hit dead center with little adjustment. Little heavy. I bought it originally for my KSG to handle the recoil but who needs a 3X optic for a shotgun. I'm happy with it on my HK.
