If you want a little more organization for your carry ammo this is the ticket. With everything I carry on a daily basis being (keys, wallet, phone, small olight flashlight, an assortment of different pocket knives, and spare ammo.) I needed less clutter in my pocket this holds 12 extra rds in place at all times in my dedicated front left pocket. Always in place, faster reloading times, well organized. It's a no-brainer!

I carry these for spare ammo for my LCR. They lay flat and keep the rounds secure. The only thing making it a 4 star is that the end tan eventually breaks off if you carry them a lot. I’d like to see a different material or design tweak to resist the tab from breaking. OP had the best deal in these and great shipping once again.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- slim
- Retention

The speed strip does what it is designed to do, hold ammunition together so it can be easily used to reload a revolver. If you are worried about reloading your J frame quickly you are not thinking clearly.. Pick another firearm! The J frame is small, discreet and designed for close in work..period. it is not a combat piece designed for high volume fire and multiple reloads, hence the NY reload used by Jim Cirillo and the NYC stake out squad..carry a second piece! I have used these and also H&K style and type speed loaders. With practice they work equally well, and you can load with in a few seconds using either one. If that is not fast enough you really screwed up, and nothing will make a difference. The speed strip are much easier to conceal, are quiet and give you options the full speed loaders do not. You can load only one or two shells to top off the cylinder, you can carry different types of rounds easily, and you can carry several in less room than one "speed" loader. Most pros use one with more slots than the capacity of the firearm. That means you use a 6 rd or 7 round strip in a 5 shot j frame, loading two then a space, two then a space, then on. This give you room to put your fingers through the opening easier, gives more control. the longer strip bends easier etc. The strips work and have worked for years. they are the best thing going wehn the going gets tough. Try loading your "speed" loader with 5 rounds not perfectly lined up under stress, when you are being s...

This part is a flat, straight-line rubber strip that holds five .38 rounds. I bought it for my S&W J frame. It's not very speedy because to load rounds from it into the firearm, you must bend the stiff rubber strip into a curve to align each round with each chamber in the cylinder, and then press them out of the strip. Not effecient at all. By the time I loaded the rounds into the strip and contorted it to load into the firearm, I could have just popped the five rounds directly into the cylinder. Better off with the circular aluminum loaders. Bought this because it was cheap, don't see using it again. Really a 1 star, but gave 2 because it holds the rounds well and maybe can be used to store rounds in an organized manner. User would have to decide.
Best Used for:
- Storing rounds to pocket-carry as backup without the bulk of a circular loader.

I like the Bianchi Speed Strips because they ride flat in my front pocket. They are very handy for the quick trip to the store. With my S&W 642 IWB, and a speed strip in my pocket, I'm set. As far as durability is concerned, I have loaded and unloaded these many times, and the rubber shows no sign of fatigue. Given the price, why not have a couple on hand.

Awesome way to carry extra ammo for your revolver. Nice strong rubber and compact design will fit in the smallest of pockets. Plus you get 2 strips so you can carry a total of 12 rounds for your revolver.
This is a must if you want a minimalist setup for concealed carry

Easy to load ammo into the strips. It is secure. They lie flat in your pocket as others have mentioned and a good option as a method to carry spare ammo. Seems to be easier to manually removed and then loaded into the cylinder than trying to "Strip" them off. Still working through my method and determining the final process I will use.

This is a very handy little product. This will probably end up being my favorite loader. It is very easy to use and it takes up very little space when loaded. You can have a couple of these in your pocket and you can't tell.
