Looked like they fell out of an airplane!
Purchased two, bought as new. Shipped in separate boxes, both boxes looked as if they had fell out of an airplane; holes in boxes, target stands punched through the sides of both boxes. My chief complaint is that one these stands was clearly used, and was missing the adjustment screw. I rectified that with a trip to a real hardware store and a $5 thumb screw, however, as previously stated these were sold/bought as new, not as "open box specials". I have been dealing with O/P for a long time, to the tune of thousands of dollars a year; the last couple of years their quality has really been slip...

Seriously solid. Did not expect that for the price
This is a solid stand. It's well built, heavy enough to withstand a windy day but not so heavy it's impossible to carry. Honestly wasn't expecting much for the price but I got a lot more than I thought I would. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another 4 or 5 of these. The only thing I'd like to see in all of these types of stands is the ability to twist the legs so it's all parallel for carry/ travel. It would be nice to be able to place it in a small tent style bag with a handle to make transport, packing and carrying easy. Just for for thought for all makers of these types of products but, alas I've never seen a company do it yet so that being said, this is the best product you could buy if you want one of these stands because quality and price are unbeatable. Thank you!

Poor design
I already had a stand nearly identical to this one but from another manufacturer. The problem was that the slots for the 1x2 had tension bars welded to both sides. So I had to spend time shaving down the wood so it would fit into the slots. Since a 1x2 is actually .75 x 1.75, I had to shave down the slats so they were .75 x 1.5. Not a happy prospect whenever you need to replace the uprights. The only other review for this product suggested you could just drop a 1x2 into the slots. Not so. This product is almost identical to my earlier one. This time, however, I cut the welds and knocked out the tension bars. Doing that allows a 1x2 to drop neatly in place. For additional protection from wind, I also drilled a hole front to back and a hole in the 1x2 to slide in a bolt and wingnut to anchor it into the slot. The product itself is okay and as usual, shipping from Optic Planet was rapid but expect to do some work before you take this target stand to the range.

Works great
These can blow over in windy environments. However that is about the only con. Other then that they work great. Fit perfect with a 1x2 for wood struts. I would recommend this as a target stand for anyone who needs a portable target option.
