I bought this adapter to add a single point sling to my S&W M&P 15-22. After taking off my stock, this adapter slide right on and tightened down nicely. It is nice to have the same setup on my .22 as my AR.

At first it seemed to look well made until I tried to put it on my AR mil-spec buffer tube, it didn’t fit.. Don’t do what I did!!I filed the area where the screw clamps together for a tighter fit then it broke when it was tightened up.This will not fit your mil-spec. buffer tube as advertised!! Buye...

BlackHawk AR-15 Sling Adapter

Very easy to install. I had to make a thin shim of thin copper to be able to tighten on Ruger AR556. The adapter is fine quality. I viewed a number of adapters and this was a great price. It your looking for quality then this adapter is for you.

BlackHawk AR-15 Storm Sling Adapter

Very well made product. Wasn't quite tight when I screwed it together. I cut a thin shim of very thin brass and then the sling adapter tightened up so it would slip. Very convenient to install. I had looked at the cost of similar products and this was a great price for a well made accessory.

YES...and no.

This is a great single point ambidextrous sling adapter. The only difficult part of instillation was removing the stock. I can only give three stars because despite the great product, it did not fit my mil spec buffer tube. So, now it rocks back a forth.

Blackhawk does advertise this as being for commercial and Mil Spec buffer tubes, but that is not the result I found. I plan to remove it and place it on another rifle.

AR Sling ring

Well made great product but the holes on either side are kind of small and dont work well with Magpul para clip and sling. Easy to install without removing buffer tube, nut and spring. Overall great value and quick to install without spending 30.00 and up.

Need single point align for my s&w 15-22. Went through options and read Reviews on all and found on who perched one for their 15-22 and said it was great. I have to agree it installed with out any problems and works great. Would recommend for all 15-22.

Nice fitment and looks great but...

Installed easily and looks great. Doesn't accept QD sling adaptors like you would think it does from looking at the design. So beware unless you aren't using QD adaptors. May play with it on my drill press to make the QD work though.

Easy to install

This works well on my dpms oracle. No need to take the buffer tube off to install a traditional sling mount behind the castle nut. Be careful installing. The instructions say only tighten to 10 inch pounds. Thats not much, I had a torque wrench screwdriver and that was the lowest setting. I think they are worried about crushing the buffer tube.

Have been trying to find a sling adapter that works on the S&W 15-22. Purchased two others that did not work. In a forum someone mentioned Optics Planet had one that works. It does. One year search is over. Thank you.
