I havetwo of these and have used them for sevral years. One is black and one is CB...They ar much more iscreet and draw little attention. The arm chair wannabees who walk around in their tactical garb with their packs are nt particularly bright IMHO...I did this work for 12 yrs overseas with DOD/DIA...

BlackHawk battle bag

This is the second of these bags that I have purchased. I have one in Coyote and one in black. Obviously I like them. The bag is very well made, holds lots of gear and provides pockets, straps and Velcro attachment points for good organization etc. I use mine for 72 hr bags, one for myself one for my wife. I have them filled with various items, including firearm on Velcro attach holster, and extra mags, I have survival,medical,cooking,supplies for quick egress when required. The only down side is the lack of a "real" carry handle on the top, which would make it handier to pick up, and set down etc. Other wise this is the best bag of the type I have found, and the quality is top of the line.
Pros: Well built, compact, lots of pockets
Cons: No top carry handle
Would recommend: Yes

Battle Bag/Go Bag

This bag is a good choice for an everyday "Go Bag" that provides enough storage etc for basic essentials, without weighing you down. It can handle the basic "tactical" essentials, but is limited to a max useful time frame (72hrs ) due to size.
Pros: Good size, interior divided well
Cons: No quick release buckles
Would recommend: Yes
