Bought this hoping my M&P 9 Shield Plus would fit as the Blackhawk website doesn't specifically mention the "Plus." When I received it, the package clearly indicates the Shield Plus will fit. I like the Serpa CQC because of the positive trigger guard lock. I don't have to worry about accidently snagging it on something and pulling the weapon out of the holster! OP shipped it quickly and well packaged.

This holster works very well. It has excellent retention both as a paddle holster and the gun retention button. This holster is comfortable while riding my 4 wheeler and dirt bike and I don’t worry about losing my gun. I highly recommend!

Have been looking for just this kind of holster. Excellent price, high quality. Easy purchase. Don't buy the cheap knock offs, they are not worth the few dollars you save, Go with Serpa. For my own ease of use I will be buying a second one so I have one each for belt mount and for slip on.

Blackhawks serpa holster is a Great holster. It’s easy to install on either the paddle or belt mounts. Stays secure while walking, running, and while executing a combat roll. A nice flat black finish to holster your fine weapon

Blackhawk Serpa CQC Concealment Holster with Matte Finish for M&P Shield

I like serpa holsters, they work well and are made well. If use the paddle feature, they bite into your clothes and cannot be ripped off you easily if someone tried to take it from you off your hip. I have heard some other make although easier, on and off, can be ripped off, then the bad guy has your gun. Things to think about if you conceal or open carry. I like the lock feature to secure your pistol keeping it from hopping out in a scuffle or awkward positions you may find yourself in in a normal day. The lock is right where your index finger should be anyway when drawing the weapon. There is a belt wearing feature that isnt bad either. I think the paddle feature is more comfortable and distributes the weight better.
Pros:

Cons:
  • a little bit bulky for some ways of carry(summer time light shirts). Might want a leather thumbreak or use the belt feature for that, or use smaller pistols for some situations concealing.
Best Used for:
  • target, CCW,

Just the right holster for my Springfield XDM

I bought one of these once before, but it was on my duty belt. Blackhawk Serpa holsters come with either a duty belt attachment or a paddle attachment. So I bought a 2nd one and added the paddle. Now I can carry my .40 either on my duty belt or with my civilian attire on the paddle.
This is a great Level 2 retention holster!
Pros:
  • Easy to use, affordable, and comes in different colors
Cons:
  • Isn't really made to switch quickly/easily between paddle & duty belt loop
Best Used for:
  • One or the other but you may want 2

Blackhawk Holster

This is the perfect fit for my 9MM Shield. The fit and finish is perfect and the release from the holster is smooth as silk. Your index finger naturally crosses the release and the Shield is out and ready to go. The alignment adjustments are spot on to find that comfortable place for easy insert and removal of the shield. My only regret is Blackhawk does not offer one for the commander series 45`s.

Sturdy and dependable

This holster fit my Taurus 605, .357 mag like a glove, crisp snap when locking into place no wiggling. Didn't fall out of the holster at all. Very comfortable to wear and packed with different carry options. Love this holster!
