Great for VR80!
Commercial tube size fits RIA VR80 prefect. Nice recoil pad even though it a little but hard still absorbs recoil of 3” magnum heavy loads. Has built in reversible sling socket. Looks to be very durable.

does not fit
I purchased the FDE milspec stock model number KAR011DK it does not fit on my milspec tube. The pin inside is way too big. Will not lock in. Not sure why this is listed this way when it clearly does not fit a milspec tube. Returning now.
Pin issues….
I bought a black and an FDE carbine stock. The black one is a great stock! Locks up tight, almost no wiggle, looks great! The FDE stock has a position locking pin that has a diameter too large for the buffer tube position lop channel. Seeing how many other customers having this same issue is disappointing. Obviously a production error….

This is not a mil spec stock, the lock pin diameter is too big, it can’t fit any buffer tube.

Locking pin is too large for commercial tube
The locking pin inside the stock is too large to engage with the notched position settings of my commercial buffer tubes. In fact, I could not find a buffer tube that this stock actually worked with. I returned it for a replacement and had the same issues. Im perplexed that this issue is not more popular considering it seems as if this is a major design flaw.

do not buy
This item is an absolute fraud. Optics planet needs to remove this item. The mil spec option does not fit a mil spec tube. Delete this item now. Do not buy this item. The cushion is also not nearly as soft as it looks. Belongs in the trash

lieing manufacturer
If you buy the mil spec stock IT WILL NOT FIT A MIL SPEC BUFFER! Th locking pin inside the stock will not fit the holes in the buffer tube. The rubber but pad also looks like it will mitigate recoil but it is much harder than you would expect. Do not waste your time with this manufacturer. Optics planet needs to remove this product

The stopping button for adjustment is too big. Saw similar review with same issue. Returning.

cushion stock
My third one. Love them. Easy to use and change out with original stock. Cushion really softens the recoil on 308.

Looks great but think i just got a bad one.
Ordered this stock because I like Black Hawk and the look of this stock was pretty cool. I’m building an ar10 and this stock looks great on it.
It’s easy to install. They come in a couple colors. I got FDE.
The only issue is the locking mechanism for each position doesn’t work. It looks good. Feels comfortable but can’t keep it in place.
Spoke to customer service and they’ve been great. I think I’m just gonna exchange it and go from there.

Great stock.
This is my favorite stock I have them on every ar I own. Most comfortable and easy to use stock I've found. Plus it has built in QD for a sling. I wish I could find a commercial spec one so I could out it on my shotgun
