it's enough height for the boy but it slides fore and aft with out locking in one spot.
Pros: easy to install
Cons: doesn't lock in slides back and forth

The Stock is great but if you like I use low mounting scope thi is something you may not need.
It is too high for me. There is no adjustment

By all means buy the stock you will be happy on moderate to heavy recoil

Blackhawk Axiom Cheek Piece adapter
The cheek piece adapter works great to give you a steady and consistent spot to comfortably shoot with a large objective scope that has to be mounted higher to allow for proper clearance. I am very pleased with this addition to the Axiom stocks.

If you purchase the Blackhawk Axiom stock then you must have the cheek piece adapter. It is necessary to lock in your sight window in returning to your scope. A great addition. Follow the instructions in installing it, don't be afraid to break it ,as it is very durable. Once it is locked in place it is there to stay.

Easy to install if you read the instructions carefully. Has some sharp edges that need to be sanded down. Functions perfectly to sight thru scope. Be nice if they made a Camo version for camo stock. 2 heights to choose.

See "pros". And it looks cool too. I have it on a Rem 300 win mag with 26 inch barrel and suppressor.Now wife thinks I look like James Bond or Rambo, she can't decide.

BlackHawk Knoxx Axiom Cheek Piece Adapter
I have been hunting and shooting for quite some time, (20+ years). For me, part of being accurate has been being able to steady the gun. I acquired a huge scope and found that I was unable to steady my head as I looked through the scope (as the scope had to sit much higher off the gun). This cheek piece provided the necessary rest for that hight and for the price was undoubtedly worth it. The only thing that I wish was a little better was the adjustments. It has two stages, I wish you could somehow adjust it more precisely....but again I say for the price you cannot go wrong! The set up was incredibly easy, we were up and running in about 2 minutes flat.
