Purchased to use on the Shockwave 20 Gauge. As another review stated, there is a bit of material that needs to be removed from the part that mounts to the gun. This can be done using a file, but much easier if carefully done using a dremel tool. The work that needs to be done will not be visible when mounted. The grip looks like it has a rubber texture, but it's just hard plastic. However, it feels fine and looks cool. It does make the gun more awkward to carry compared to the birds head grip, for me anyway, but I believe I have better control when shooting the gun.

I can say that I notice a big difference between the raptor grip and this Breachers grip. When shooting heavy loads like slugs and buckshot this grip really saves your wrist and arm from any pain! I went through 25 00 buck and 25 slugs at the range and felt perfectly fine afterwards, this grip really works. Also I find my ability to aim down sights has become a lot quicker and more accurate.

This grip not only looks and feels good,it will make my shotgun easier to handle and able to take on a few more accessories. It fit as advertised and was easy to install. Ordering from OP was a breeze and the product arrived right on time.

Very happy with my new BlackHawk Knoxx Breachersgrip Gen III pistol grip! It was easy to install (once I found the included directions)!! It looks menacingly awesome! I don’t feel that the recoil reducing spring does much, but it is still worth every penny! I know from actual experience that the zombies stagger away, once they get a look at it!!

bought this item as best guess solution to retarded recoil on my mossberg 12 ga. took it out for a test flight recently. brought sensed
recoil down to the level of my 1911. it's a must have. as plus it's a no-brainer to install. 5-10 mins., tops.

Excellent product! I bought his for rem tac 14 and it really takes a lot of he sting out of the recoil. I have shot slugs, buckshot, and bird shot with no problems. Perfect for home defense set up. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for pistol grip shotgun reduced recoil.

With buckshot and slug, the reduced felt recoil was noticeably lighter than regular grips, and birdshot was nothing to shoot. Installation was fairly simple and minimal as well. The QD sling swivel on the rear is also a big plus

I bought this with the intent of using it on a Mossberg stock pattern firearm. It did require modification to fit. I also intended on adding a folding mechanism to allow the buffer tube I wanted to add to fold. This required using a heat gun to breakdown the Red Loctite threadlocker that the manufacturer used during assembly. The spring sits in a cup and will not allow the installation of my folding mechanism without further modification. The grip itself interferes with the crossbolt style safety of the gun, so further modification was needed to allow for the safety to function and for final assembly. If you aren’t a gunsmith, I would not recommend attempting modifications. If you want a buffer tube, buy the model that comes with it. If you want to add a folding mechanism, please let me know what you come up with, I’m still scratching my head on that one. Aside from my modifications, the product seems to be as described and does work as designed. Installation is very straightforward for the correct application. The ergonomics are pretty good as well.

Love this grip! If you are wanting to make your shotgun into a home defense weapon than this is a must have. Fits good and easy to put on. Was surprised about how well it works and looks. All around I was impressed. New product and found it quick on Optics Planet.
