Most Helpful Positive Review Works well looks OK
The forend has different widths and is extended far back enough that utilizing in while holding the weapon tight in is possible. Most Helpful Negative Review Will not work with side saddle.
I have had this forend on my 870 for about 3 years now. Works great but the down fall is when I up graded to a side saddle the forend (which overlaps the receiver) would hit my side saddle. causing the gun not to fully cycle. So just becareful if you have a 6 or 8 round side saddle. it will not ...

Have to gring down with a dremmil to fit correctly.
Pros: Solid build
Cons: Do not fit all Mossberg shotguns

Needs to be modified

Initially, the forend did not fit my 870. I had to use a dremel tool to modify the front end of the forend so that the forend end tube nut could be screwed on. I also had to modify so that the magazine cap did not interfere with the loading of the shotgun. Once done te product works fine. may not be for everyone, if you do not want to "tinker" with the new forend.
Cons: did not work "out of the boX"
