I think the tactical holster is great. It's very comfortable and because of the two belt straps, it makes the holster stable on the thigh. There is one trick though--you can't attach it to the belt that holds your pants up. If you do, it won't be comfortable. You'll have to buy a separate outer belt...

Sig fits like a glove
Works great fits very nice on the leg, quick release, as you slide your hand up to grab your gun just press on the release catch as your pulling your gun out and your ready to rock.
Quick belt release when you are ready to take it off, leg straps help to hold it secure and firm to your leg.

Blackhawk SERPA 1911 thigh holster
This product far exceeded my expectations. The fit and function could not be better. It fits my full size 1911 perfectly and even has and additional quick release top hatch To safely carry cocked and locked. It’s tension is adjustable to make for tighter, more snug retention or looser retention for ease of draw and re-holstering. All while maintaining a secure hold on the firearm. Wide straps and robust clips inspire confidence and provide stability and comfort. Absolutely love this product. Well done!

Would’ve Been Great But.........
The holster came as advertised, but as I’m sure with many different models of pistols, there really isn’t a holster made for it “exactly”. The Elite model (which I have) has adjustable sights which don’t fit under the secondary retention mechanism. Nothing a hacksaw and a Dremel tool couldn’t fix, so I’m good to go! Works perfect now and is way more sleek anyway.

Springfield XD Thigh Holster
I finally got it in the mail and am extremely happy with my purchase. I have used Blackhawk thigh holsters before for duty, but I wanted one for my personal pistol and am satisfied. I only have to loosen the retention screw a bit and I'm good to go.

Blackhawk has another winner. The holster/dropleg platform functions as well as I'd hoped in my 3gun C.Q.B. matches. OpticsPlanet does an excellent job getting the order out,and keeping prices affordable.

Good holster
Retention on the holster is awesome, the harness stays snugg against your thigh so you don't have rubbing and banging when moving faster than a walk. Comfortable. The height adjustment straps do loosen up and the harness will lower just out of reach of the draw. You may have to tape of sew the straps in place once you decide where you want it to sit.

Should have bought this sooner
Light weight and well built very comfortable to wear, quick release, easy adjustment for a perfect fit.
Overall a very nice leg holster and very easy to put on and wear.
I would recommend this holster, almost in possible for someone to to pull the handgun out of the holster.

BlackHawk Level 3 Tactical SERPA Holster
I purchased this one after buying and returning BlackHawk Tactical SERPA Holster(assuming it is a level 1 or whatever)that didn't seem to let me have my gun when I wanted it.
This one fits a lot better, still a little tight on my Colt Competition 1911 but it just needs a little time in the holster. I may or may not use the Hammer guard as I have only had it a little while and have not used it in a competition situation yet.
But over all for the money and what you get I am very happy.

Blackhawk Serpa Level 3 tactical
Outstanding utility, but like any piece of equipment , the user has to train with it.. Keeps the weapon secure, durable material and great fit to the body..you attach when needed and remove with ease when not needed..I will buy one more for a backup too valuable an accessory to be without..
