Most Helpful Positive Review Blackhawk Push Button Detachable 70SW16BK
The swivel is a two part system in which the female component is flush mounted in the stock and the male component attaches to the sling. Press the plunger in the center and pull to separate. One needs to be careful when epoxing the female component in the stock a make certain that all excess epoxy is removed from both inside and outside the part. Pros: Good quality construction, design functions as described. Cons: Mounting requires female section to be epoxied into stock.

Not what I was hoping for.

These swivels are difficult to release from their cups. I have to pull hard to extract them from the cup even with the button fully depressed. I believe the problem lies with the swivel itself and not the cup. Magpul and other swivels fit and extract just fine in the Blackhawk cups. Also........These are not as heavy duty or appear as nice as Magpul swivels. I consider these 'Light Weight' swivels because the bail is much thinner than a Magpul. Because they are hard to separate...............some may feel that is a GOOD thing. I consider it a Pain In The Azz.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Difficult to release from cup
Best Used for:
  • Light weight purposes
