Requires disassembly of firearm
Nothing in ad prepares customer for disassembly of firearm in order to install item. Specialized tools are required.

Well made product
I have multiple Blackhawk products. I haven't been disappointed. Everything is well made and durable. The adapter allows my sling (which is also Blackhawk) to connect and pivot. It is comfortable and reduces fatigue while carrying weapon for long periods of time.

works as advertised
nice addition to your ar. my sling had snap hooks and this works perfectly. The only thing is that the color doesn't match good with my rifle but oh well you can barely see it anyways. In my mind simple pieces like this should be like $5 but thats not the world we live in.

Simple Sling Adapter for AR-15
Cheap, high quality ready to attach. Does what it needs to do. Be sure to use the proper tool to get your stock off!Once everything was put back together I staked it all together. This works great with my BlackHawk STORM Sling RS.

This adapter works as advertized. Once in place and sling is attached you will be completely satisfied. Very very solid.
I rated ease of set up as neutrl because it requires gun work, putting the adapter on is really no big deal.

An integral part of my weapon
Easy to set up? Yea, once you get the castle nut off your stock. My M4A3 had never had the nut removed since coming from the factory. Be sure you have the right tool. Put the lower in a freezer for a few hours then heat up the nut with a blow dryer. Only then will the nut come off and still it won't be easy. Be sure to remove the stock over a flat, clean surface where you will be able to find all the pins and springs that will pop out.

One Less Thing To Worry About
Typically you have only a couple of limeted choices for a single-point sling mount -- one loop or two. Both loops are located on the side, so you hand is always getting nicked.
Blackhawk! finally gave the customer what they wanted -- a single loop secured to the end-plate, completely suitable for the left- or right-handed shooter. Simplicity in itself.
My question to everybody else, who has yet to offer this item is: Where the devil are you?
To Blackhawk! I thankyou, and my hands thankyou.
Pros: Erognomical - the perfect thing for the perfect job.
Cons: Workmanship - just a little slap-dash.
