Most Helpful Positive Review Blackhawk Storm Single Point Sling QD 1-PT, Black Color
Great system which allows you to keep your hands free to transition to another weapon. Quality and ease of use is second to none when compared to three point and traditional slings. The quick attachment allows to take the weapon off easily. Pros: Ease of use, quality, durability Cons: none

Website didn't mention at all a side swivel or similar thing is needed to hook to the gun. Or should be recommended under "Customer who bought this also bought this", etc. I have to order an AR side swivel from MidWay which is currently out of stock. Pros: ??? Cons: No use at the moment

Most of my rifles use this sling. Buy all the attachments for the rifle then buy just a few slings! :) Be sure to check sling Length should be 50 inches. Not much else just need to keep typing to meet the stupid requirements! Not sure if this is enough let’s us see!
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Some slings are smaller then 50 inches not good for us big guys.
Best Used for:
  • All rifles with proper attachment.

Sturdy single-point sling with a MASH CLIP

by Jamie, from AL, United States Written on October 15, 2021
As it is not clear in the image or description, this sling uses a MASH clip. It does not use a QD connector, the QD is solely referring to the quick disconnect buckle on the strap itself. The sling itself seems sturdy and works perfectly on my AKM.
Pros:
  • light
  • Sturdy
  • MASH Clip
Cons:
  • Somewhat short if you're 6ft+

Good quality less expensive sling

by Ben, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on May 16, 2021
I typically use a climbers hook attached to my loop by QD short sling that just gets clipped to my tactical vest, (a form of a very short single point, kinda looks like those guys who just tie 5/50 cord from their stock to their vest) ... this is the way most of my unit carried their weapons while deployed. I ordered this however, so that If I didn't want to get all my gear on, I could still quick clip this to myself for range days.

Single Point Sling

by Bill, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on August 8, 2020
Excellent quality, affordable price... sturdy hardwate, quality webbing. Blawkhawk reputation. Best suited for cqb applications. I use it on my pistol, but also good for sbr's. I highly recommend t his particular single point sling if you like single point slings. If a single point sling costs less, you risk chinsy chinese pot metal hardware. You can always pay more, but you still only have a single point sling that wont assist with shooting stability or securing tightly to your body while you are using both hands (ie climbing).
Pros:
  • solid hardware
  • quality webbing
  • single point sling
Cons:
  • single point sling
Best Used for:
  • highly recommend this sling for cqb applications especially on a sbr or pistol.

Excellent Sling for the money

by Eric, from FL, United States Written on July 11, 2018
Cannot beat this sling, for quality, price and comfort. I just ordered 2 more. I purchased it for a 300 blackout build, just to give it a try and was very pleased with this sling, purchased the other 2 for my other man toys. Highly recommended

Blackhawk sling

by Boris, from SC, United States Written on October 22, 2015
High quality sling, adjustable and well made. You WILL need an end plate sling adapter on your AR rifle to use it properly, if you have a M4 style stock a web cinch style adapter will not work (no clearance to pull the charging handle back.) Tapco and other companies produce the sling adapters.

Pros:
  • tough material
Cons:
  • none... yet
Best Used for:
  • Tactical and hunting

Great single point sling

by Stan, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on January 14, 2015
I am using the Blackhawk Storm single point sling with the Blackhawk single point sling adapter. This combo is very comfortable and easy to transition to a left-handed hold. If a single point sling is in your future, these two items should be at the top of your list.
