I had tried a couple of other "solutions" for attaching a bipod to a flat-bottom wooden stock. Neither of them was satisfactory and would probably have damaged the stock if I had forced the installation. Despite some negative reviews, I found this option by Blackhawk to be very satisfactory. It is easy to install, and if you use a little restrain when tightening the screws, it seems to be an excellent way to attach a bipod to your rifle without damage to the stock.

Great addition to my 22lr bolt action, allows easy use of either a bipod or tactical light. It also allows the full function of the fore grip with a bipod folded up. This gives the user full use of the fore grip due to the gap provided between the rail and bipod.

I installed this adapter on by bergara rifle and for the most part it is great. There is just one huge downfall and that is that the rubber piece that is designed to go in between the rail and rifle to protect it is terrible. As soon as I tightened the rail down the rubber split on each side and now the rail scratched the sh*t out of my new 700 dollar rifle. Blackhawk would probably say I tightened it too much but I was just tightening it until it would not move, which is kind of the whole point. I don't know why they did not just apply rubber to the piece itself because once you apply force to the rail it acts like a knife and just cuts through the rubber, which makes the whole purpose of the rubber irrelevant. If you do not care about scratching the bottom of your rifle (you wont see it if the adapter is on) then it is a good product, the rail is very well made.
Cons:
- terrible and cheap rubber
Best Used for:
- permanent accessory on rifle

The mount works great on my CZ 455. I need it to add the Atlas bipod onto my stock. It should allow the flexibility I need for shooting off the bipod. Shipping was fast, an overall great experience again from OP!

Easy to install and a great way to add a bipod without having to remove your sling. Mounts very solidly. A little on the thick side, looks big on the front of the stock but not bad. I installed on my Savage B17 and like it so much I ordered another for my Tikka T3X!

The Blackhawk Swivel Stud Picatinny Rail Adapter is a great product. Fits very well to the rifle stock and very easy to install. Easy to remove to go back to origanal stock and swivel stud.
The rife carries well with the rifle strap and bipod attached to the picatinny rail.

Seems well made and mounts nice and tight. Can't give it 5 stars because I haven't carried the rifle with it yet, so I don't know if it will stay tight. Easy way to have a QD bipod and a sling. This site says my review is to short. Give me a break! People don't need to read a book, they just need to know if the thing works or is junk!

Worked great on a Savage bolt action .22 rifle with a composite stock. Took about two minutes to install. Needed to mount a light for night shots. Have a pest problem in the yard. This item did the trick.
