Best sling I own

by David Kemp, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on October 21, 2021
I used this sling to hunt this year and it was hands down the most adjustable and comfortable sling I’ve used. No shoulder pains, and far easier to go from a tight fit of my gun to my chest to a loose fit allowing me to address targets than a typical 2 point sling.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • adjustable length
Cons:
  • None

Well made, easy to adjust, thin padding, over priced

by LensWork, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 29, 2020
Overall I am pleased with this sling, but it is difficult to justify the price ($85). I purchased it based on reviews on the manufacturer’s website and elsewhere online, and the fact that it is the current issue sling (in the non-padded version) of our Armed Forces. It is very well made and of (mostly) quality materials. It is very easy to adjust, both to lengthen and shorten. It is however less than perfect in a couple of areas; first, the QD swivels are a little difficult to operate and they are not “limited rotation”, so the sling can get twisted and at the rear on my Magpul SL buttstock the swivel can get jammed against the stock as the swivel is wider than the distance between the QD cup and the rear of the stock. The other issue that I have with this padded version of the sling is that the padding is very thin and adds only minimal comfort of the weight of my carbine against my bad neck. I knew the price before I ordered this sling so I shouldn’t complain, it’s just that after actually using it I just cannot see why it cost so much. Perhaps most of the glowing reviews elsewhere were written by GIs that were issued the sling and did not have to pay for it.
Pros:
  • well made
  • easy to adjust
  • Quality materials
Cons:
  • price
  • very thin padding
  • difficult to operate QD swivels
