These targets are accurate reproductions of the official cardboard IPSC targets, however the paper is very thin, resulting in a target that while much less expensive than the cardboard real-deal IPSC target, it tears easily and does not yield clean target holes, even when attached to a cardboard backer.

This is a quality product and an excellent way to add a weapon light and a QD (quick detachable) sling swivel to your 12-gauge shotgun. It is very well designed and the finish and appearance are indicative of a company that prides itself on producing top-quality products. The fit on my Copolla T-4S (Turkish made Benelli M4 clone) is perfect, but the maker does warn that it may not fit all 12-gauge shotguns. The Picatinny rail section is within spec and any device designed to fit a Picatinny rail should fit well. The QD socket accepted the QD swivel of my Blue Force Gear sling swivel perfectly. The design allows for the rail and QD socket halves to be mounted on either side of the barrel/magazine tube. As with any similar barrel/magazine tube clamp, it must be disassembled (2 screws) and removed to remove the barrel for cleaning/maintenance of the firearm. The manufacturer includes a warning that the metal-to-metal contact of the clamp to the gun can cause damage to the finish of the firearm. None-the-less, I highly recommend this device and would buy it again without any hesitation.

Federal’s 9mm Luger 150 grain Syntech Total Synthetic Jacket Action Pistol ammo is a super clean shooting load. After shooting a full box the bore looks like it was just cleaned. This is very soft recoiling ammunition. Great for action pistol competition and for recoil sensitive shooters. Be forewarned though, because of the low recoil and low pressure, it may require changing to a lighter recoil spring. It may also not function in gas operated weapons. My Sig M18 digested it perfectly, however it would not cycle in my wife’s Walther CCP (a gas operated pistol).

The LMOS design of this bolt carrier weighs 2oz. less than the standard JP bolt carrier, and while 2oz. doesn’t seem like much, it definitely reduces the felt recoil in my .308 Winchester Aero Precision M5E1. Any time that you can reduce the reciprocating weight in a semi-automatic firearm (while maintaining reliability) the result will be less felt recoil. An added bonus of the lower weight means that on the forward stroke the muzzle will have less tendency to dip down, so you can stay on-target better resulting in faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
I got the polished stainless steel finish, and it has a mirror-like finish, so it cycles smoothly and cleaning it is a breeze; just wipe it down with a soft cloth and any gunk comes right off. JP includes a small packet of oil with the bolt carrier, and using their oil, the carrier still looks new after the first few hundred rounds.
Since it is a lightweight carrier, the rearward velocity of the carrier during recoil is greater than that of a standard weight carrier, so it may be necessary to adjust the weight of your buffer, or use an adjustable gas block. I use an Odin adjustable AR-10 carbine buffer with 2 tungsten weights (total weight 5.5oz.), a JP large frame carbine spring and an Aero Precision adjustable gas block (set 9 clicks down from fully open) on my Criterion 18” barrel with a rifle length gas tube and I have had zero function issues. My M5 reliably cycles everything from 130gr. - 185gr., hunting, military b

First, the Odin AR-10 adjustable buffer is the correct length — 2.5” — if you are using a standard AR-15 Carbine buffer tube (interior length ~6 15/16”). Much of the time when an AR .308 Carbine has cycling issues, it is due to using the wrong buffer and/or spring. If your build uses a standard AR-15 Carbine buffer tube (receiver extension), you cannot use an AR-15 Carbine buffer; it is too long to allow for the additional travel distance of the longer .308 BCG. Given the necessary shorter length of the buffer, there is a smaller window of flexibility in the buffer and spring that will result in reliable function; the adjustable weight of this buffer can save you a lot of time — and headaches — getting your build dialed-in. The only improvement that I would like to see from Odin is to offer this buffer with two tungsten weights, making the total max weight 5.5 oz. It comes with one each of aluminum, steel and tungsten (it can use any combination of two weights) for a range of 3.04 - 4.68 oz.You can of course buy additional tungsten weights; I happened to have an extra tungsten weight that came with the AR-15 version of this buffer that I did not use on my M4E1 build. Obviously I liked the AR-15 Carbine Odin adjustable buffer so much that when it came time to buy the parts for my .308 Carbine, I chose the Odin AR-10 adjustable buffer. A repeat customer is probably the best endorsement a product can have.

I was a bit hesitant buying a scope from a relatively new manufacturer in a crowded market, but I took a chance based on early reviews, and I am glad that I did! I was a photojournalist for forty years and I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to optics. I would think nothing of spending several thousands of dollars on a camera lens, but now that I am retired, I am always looking for a bargain, and this Swampfox 1-6x24 is a quality product at a reasonable price. The glass is very good and the build quality is top-notch. Overall it easily matches scopes costing twice as much. Highly recommended!

This holster mount is constructed of heavy-gauge polymer that provides a rugged base to mount your holster to, with multiple mounting options. The 3-hole pattern allows for many holsters to mount directly, or you can also purchase a mounting fork that will mate to this belt loop for a quick disconnect setup. The belt loop is curved for a comfortable fit to your hip. The one thing that you need to be aware of is that the description says that the belt loops are 2”, they are in-fact 2 1/4”. Safariland does make an adapter for 2” belts.

My first impression was that this is a well-built laser. It does not feel like most of the cheap, sub-$100 lasers. It mounts securely to the Picatinny rail on my Aero Precision handguard and has not lost zero in 600 rounds. The remote cable switch is easy to use and is more tactile than flat pad type switch on many other laser sights; I just wish that the switch had some way to mount it to the rail. I ended up using some industrial grade Velcro and it has remained in place so far. The green beam is bright and well focused. This laser won’t be mistaken for a military-grade Steiner, but it doesn’t cost $800+ either. I would definitely buy again.

I purchased the ODIN Works AR-15 adjustable buffer because I was having trouble getting my adjustable gas block tuned correctly. I had followed the manufacturer’s instructions that came with the adjustable gas block I chose for a new, custom AR-15 carbine build, and no matter what setting on the gas block, the bolt carrier would always fully cycle and lock back on an empty magazine. After consulting with the manufacturer of the adjustable gas block, I replaced the buffer with the ODIN adjustable buffer and repeated the attempt to tune the gas block. After progressing through the possible weight combinations of the ODIN adjustable buffer, I was able to tune my rifle for 100% reliability and minimum (virtually zero) recoil. Very pleased with the results.

This 2” gun belt (the description says 2 1/4”) is an excellent belt for the money. The included belt-keepers (4) and the pouches (2) do a decent job of securing the gun belt to your pants belt, but for better security get yourself a hook lined velcro under-belt to mate to the loop lining of this belt. The belt is fairly stiff - like a good gun belt should be - but depending upon your holster it can flex when drawing your weapon.
