The tan color is really dark brown. The tag says brown. They are comfortable. Based on the size information in the Q&A my hand would be a medium, I ordered a large which fits very good. I haven't used them yet, but would expect that they will not be that hot in Florida.

I got a pair of Bob Allen 315's for Christmas. Had to return them for exchange because the size I've always worn was too large. I'd suggest ordering a size smaller than your usual size because these gloves must fit snug.
Construction and materials appeared changed from my last (really old) pair. I hope the changes are for better quality and durability. Time will tell.

Good gloves. Size runs large so order one size down, they'll stretch! Good gripping and keeps your hands clean. Easy on and off too. Their not all leather as the picture's suggest, but they look as if they'll hold up under use.

This is true to size. i have wide hands and the XL glove fit snug .After waring them for a few hours the streched and conformed to my hand. I prefer a tight fitting glove for all skeet and sporting clay shooting. I would have prefered the velcro closer to be on the bottom instead of the top. There is plenty of feel in the fingers, grip is non slip. these glove work well in cool to warm tempertures. They are not a cold weather glove.

These gloves are well made and thin enough to use while hunting. The mesh back makes the glove great for spring and early fall hunting. I will even use these gloves when I bow hunt. It is rare to find a pair of gloves that are comfortable and practical to use with a shotgun, rifle, or bow. These gloves fill the bill.
Pros:
- lightweight, quality build, ocp (multicam), awesome hydration system
Best Used for:
- Early season hunting trips.

I bought these to be a cool-weather snug but not too tight fit (my normal size is 1X but 1X squeezes, these 2X don't). Great for handling ammo and triggers. They keep fingers clean while cleaning guns too. Low cost makes these a double-win buy.
Pros: precise fit, not too snug, low cost
Cons: mesh back might get cold, might hold perspiration

Best shooting gloves I've ever used. I bought a pair for both of my sons-in-law since I like mine so well. Keep your hands warm yet provides great flexibility in shooting. Now I never shoot without them, summer or winter.
Pros: Flexible and keeps my hands warm
