Most Helpful Negative Review Way to small
Optics Planet was great as always. The vest ordered was a 3XL. The vest that came had a label 3XL. The real size was a tight 2XL. Not even close to a 3XL. Good thing, vest was donated to a Special Olympics event and did raise $40 for Special Olympics. Buyer tried it on prior to bid. Pros: Nice vest, good looks Cons: More than 1 size smaller than tag size

Great vest -- order larger size

These are great vests. very functional for sport shooting. Pockets, etc are well-designed and very comfortable. Only criticism I can offer is that they run small. I wear a XL size in shirts, jackets, coats, etc. with plenty of room for movement. In these vests I have to have a 2XL.

  • Great vest. Great price.
Cons:
  • Order one size larger.

A very good shooting vest and at a good price. Well made, has all the necessary features but the sizes run rather small compared to the size stated. I ordered a 4X and I usually wear an XL. The 4X vest fits very well, I'm glad I don't wear a 2X as it would not fit. All other things considered, a good product and fast service.

I have other Bob Allen products like gun cases and have always been pleased. After a VERY long wait for this vest, I'm disappointed. I ordered a XL which should be plenty big but is was just barely big enough. The color says sage but it's more gray. The material seems very light weight compared to my old vests. Pockets are too small to put the box of shells in unless you put them in loose. No shell pouch in rear. Sending it back. Made in China.
Pros: price
Cons: small size, small pockets, light cloth
