In case you could not find its weight like me, this bolt carrier weighs in at 8.75 ounces. Very nice finish and very positive click adjustments from either side. Works great! I own both the Gemtech as well as this one and prefer this one.

DOA: Perhaps a lemon, but very poor customer service by Bootleg
I received the lightweight adjustable carrier in hopes of having greater control of gas regulation on my 11.5" 5.56 upper. Bootleg has ZERO customer service!!
I was going to buy the Gemtech adjustable BCG and then came across Bootleg inc and their 4 position adjustable BCG...Sounds like a decent product and I was very interested in buying so I reached out to Bootleg inc on several different days & times and no ever answers the phone....Probably a very small out fit...might be good but if it works like this companies customer service then I made the correct choice to not buy....with only 12 reviews and one of them being very bad doesn’t sound reassuring to meSo this is why I buy from known companies like Gemtech etc...Not only does Gemtech have exceptional quality control and products but also excellent customer service too!! Spend your money where & how you want...

Works nicely
This is a nice carrier that does work. Nice strong detente in the adjustment screw. It preformed well both suppressed and unsuppressed on my 16" middy. The coating left a lil to be desired hence only 4 stars. Id buy it again.

it works as advertised
Bought this for my AR pistol and shooting with a can. Casings were being ejected to the next county from so much pressure. Some folks had told me to change by springs, buffer, gas system...etc. Decided to just get this and tweek it and solved my issues! You can even adjust this right after each shot. No need to take the BCG oput and readjust like other competitors.

Bootleg BCG
while being really good quality, this bolt carrier didn’t fit in either of my upper receivers. i have an Aero Precision Enhanced and an Arsenal Democracy billet uppers, both of which fit all my other carriers fine. the adjustment knob on the backside of the carrier rubs and doesn’t allow it to slide in or out. i’m not here to bash Bootleg, just letting people know to do research before you buy

Awesome if running a suppressor!
This thing is phenomenal! I'm running it in a suppressed 10.5" pistol. So impressed I just ordered another for my next build. If you don't want to run an adjustable gas block, this is by far the way to go!
