Pros: Comparing with the other popular brands i see in use on YouTube, the QD II performs as well as any of them. The discrimination circuitry does what its supposed to do. As with all detectors, using it efficiently has a large learning curve. ALL detectors are inherently erratic given the multitude of conditions we encounter. But, they are consistently erratic, and this is learnable. Spend a lot of time with the machine and pay close attention. A good ear on a cheap machine is far better than a novice on an expensive one. It just takes time. Like learning a musical instrument.

Bounty Hunter Quick Draw ll
If this unit had not broken 6 weeks into my owning it, I would have recommended it, I had a lot of fun with it and then it fell apart.
Pros: I really enjoyed using this unit , I found lots of coins and a ring.
Cons: After 6 weeks of use the unit started malfunctioning, one of the settings modes quit working and I started getting all kinds of false readings.
