Not nearly as good as the old vltor style they use to sell. Will sometimes lock up and you can not work the handle back. The single side handles seem to be fine but the ambi does not work well. I would not recommend. Should work much better for the price

I bought this charge handle at a local gun shop to replace the garbage Trybe ambi-charge handle I bought here that broke after 2 weeks and to put it short, I am impressed. This is a strong/durable charge handle made in the US out of high quality 7075 T6 anodized aluminum. When you pull it back on one side, the spring is strong enough that the CH body doesn’t pull to that side and scrape the upper receiver wall. I’m a mechanical engineer and from my experience in design I guarantee this charge handle will last the life of my AR...I won’t bore you with the details as to why. You can never go wrong buying BCM!!! It’s a little expensive but trust me, you’ll end up spending a lot more buying several cheap charge handles.
Pros:
- light weight
- High quality material
- smooth operation
- High Quality Anodized Finish
- Strong/Durable Design

This is my favorite charging handle I’ve used. It’s bigger then mil spec but not a lot. I’ve used the bcm 3x3 and it works well but when you sling the rifle the larger charging handles stab you and the 4x4 does not. I’m a fan. Oh mines on a sig 516 piston gun.
Pros:
- Great size and functionality

Just keeps going, has been used very hard in 3 rifles. And will be getting another just because I’m tired of swapping it out to use in other builds for function test. But it’s constructed just a little bit different than the current ones. Wish I could insert photo but there’s no way to do that I can see

It works, smooth pull, quality build. Reliable. I have several of these and none have ever failed me. Spring release is smooth and durable. Medium latch works well enough for my Valkyrie build, a larger one might have been a tad better.

Have used this handle for sometime now. Now I believe that a standard charging handle is just as useful. You just need to train with it and save yourself $80.00 dollars. Remember practice. No matter how much you spend it won't make you comfortable and accurate with your AR. The trigger replacement on my Saint helped more than anything. The red dot (Romeo 5) is a big help in shooting fast, although you can shoot pretty accurate with a red dot with you guessed it practice. Timney trigger has been a blessing. All these goodies came from Optic Planet. Only the much promoted ambi charging handle fails to do anything better than std. model.
