Amazing Upper
Written on Oct 31, 2020
Overall this is an amazing upper! It’s definitely as aeroprecision states, sub-moa! You get the precision and overall quality of the high end at-10/LR-308’s for a price that won’t completely drain your bank account.
All that being said there are some cons:
- it’s very heavy (which is to be expected with a 10 but still to be noted). My total build weighs 14.7 lbs and is mostly AP parts with Magpul grip & stock.
- There’s a rough edge in my feed ramp that gouges my brass that I need either fix myself or have fixed.
- the hand guard is absolutely obnoxious to remove

Quality Snap Cap

Review for
A-Zoom Metal 6.5 Creedmoor Snap Cap
Identical in size to an actual 6.5 Creedmoor (I actually measured it with a digital caliper and compared with a Sellier Bellot 140 gr round), and extract perfectly...what more can you honestly ask for in a snap cap? Wish it came with more of them but with rifle rounds I’ve never seen packs come with more the 2. I tend to use them with mags I load before I go to the range to make ensure there are no negligent discharges from my friends.

Great Plate Carrier
Written on Aug 10, 2020
Well constructed, heavy duty and easy to adjust. It is a little heavy, but deal with it. When you get it, note there’s a secret large kangaroo like pocket in the front that’s very easy to miss because it has a heavy duty Velcro seal. All and all I think it’s worth money. I like to use it as a weight vest when I go for my daily runs (despite the crazy looks I get).
Don’t forget to adjust it to you particular body though; the top of the plate should be at your collar bone.

Now this is how you make a charge handle!!
Written on Jul 11, 2020
I bought this charge handle at a local gun shop to replace the garbage Trybe ambi-charge handle I bought here that broke after 2 weeks and to put it short, I am impressed. This is a strong/durable charge handle made in the US out of high quality 7075 T6 anodized aluminum. When you pull it back on one side, the spring is strong enough that the CH body doesn’t pull to that side and scrape the upper receiver wall. I’m a mechanical engineer and from my experience in design I guarantee this charge handle will last the life of my AR...I won’t bore you with the details as to why. You can never go wrong buying BCM!!! It’s a little expensive but trust me, you’ll end up spending a lot more buying several cheap charge handles.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THIS
Written on Jul 10, 2020
After first glance it looks good. After a couple charges, the black coating scrapes off. After 2 weeks the roll pin in the grip deforms and falls out, and you’re left sitting there with one of the grips in your hand feeling like an idiot. NEVER BUY TRYBE COMPONENTS!!! I’ve bought a Trybe lower parts kit, gas tube and this charge handle...the roll pin hole in the gas tube was out of place, majority of the parts in the lower parts kit were defective (the safety selector couldn’t even move), and this charge handle broke after 2 weeks.

Looks Cool
Written on Jun 22, 2020
It‘s a nice looking charging handle and the pull arms function well. It doesn’t fell like a quality part though, and I don’t think it will last very long. I can’t tell if it’s anodized or not but after charging it a couple times I noticed most of the black surface on the edges had scraped off. My guess is it will break in the next 2 or 3 months.

Garbage Tube
Written on Jun 21, 2020
The hole for the roll pin wasn’t concentric and I ended up wasting 3 roll pins trying to trouble shoot it. Luckily I was able to run a pen drill through it and the gas block to fix the alignment. Don’t waste your time and roll pins with this.

Garbage Parts
Written on Jun 21, 2020
The safety selector didn’t work at all, and the trigger disconnect spring bore was too narrow causing the spring to bind. Almost every part in this kit I ended up having to replace with parts from my local shop.
