Looks cool, rings bad - Breek Arms 3FO Flash Hider Muzzle Device

I bought this muzzle device because I specifically wanted a three prong device for my AR15. Reading reviews that say it doesn't ring, I bought it. I also bought it because I thought the external threads for a suppressor would be a standard size, 1/2X28, but I misread and realized that the external threads are a weird 13/16X16. Kind of useless. Anyway, this device does have a significant ring to it. When firing .223 out of a 16" barrel, it rings as if you had just smoked a steel target. This makes verifying hits on steel difficult because it sounds like you're hitting steel everytime you shoot it. If you don't mind the ring and are buying it for looks and not threading anything onto it, it's an alright deal at ~$30. But I need to use the external threads for a suppressor and this won't work. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my money and just got exactly what I needed, but it overlooked the specs.
