I like Browning products and have two Browning pistols - a 9mm Hi-Power and a .22 Buck Mark. So when I was looking for a new range bag, this one stood out. It is just about the right size, and as with other Browning products, the quality of the materials, fit and finish is excellent. However, the design includes an inner removable bag which entirely fills up the inside of the outer bag. The inner bag has separate handles and includes storage pockets for two pistols, and a central space for ear/eye protection. But, the inner bag pretty much takes up all the interior space of the outer bag. It's not clear if the user is supposed to carry the inner and outer bags separately, or keep them together. I really wanted to like this bag, but I just don't understand the complicated design for something that is supposed to be simple. In the end I returned it for a Cimarron Two-Pistol Range Bag which is much better for my needs.

I waited at least 6 months before writing this review. I have gone through several range bags in a relatively short amount of time. Mostly canvas or cheaper nylon bags. Some/most split around the seams or the zippers fail or both. This bag has been stuffed with everything needed to take 2 guns and all the assorted equipment on multiple trips. The elastic bands that hold magazines are handy and the side pockets hold several pairs of glasses and (depending on the size) over the ear hearing protection. The removable inner bag has nice carry handles and I use it on some trips to hold ammo. The only feature I don't use is the fold down flap that is advertised as a place to lay out your handgun to work on them or whatever, I just don't have the need for that. Although it is a wide shallow opening that can be used to transport a pistol or other thin objects. What is really nice is that the sides are stiff enough I use it as a base to hold my spotting scope when I take it to the rifle range.
