Nice Product - Be Careful which one you order.
Fit up is nice and good finish. Just be really careful which model you order. The regular BLR lightweight and the BLR Takedown bases are not the same. (We found this out the hard way). We used this to mount a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x on a new Browning BLR Lightweight. A bit of an odd combo, but it holds great and we're looking forward to hunting with it!
Blr scout mount
Good quality, second scout setup on these rifles. I do wish they moved away from the weaver mounts as it would open more options for the top. Leupold backcountry rings with their “cross-slot mount” fit it nicely, alloy and magnum rated (had to ask Leupold directly).
Pros:
- Barrel mounted on takedown - repeat accuracy
- Leupold back country cross slot fit
Cons:
- Weaver mounts are becoming limited
- several universal weaver mount rings did not fit

Perfect fit for my blr. Optics had the only one left in the world. Excellent quality. Optics salesperson was real helpful in finding this part for my gun. Free shipping really helped too. Thanks Optics for all the help.
