I don't agree what others are saying!!!!!!
I recently purchased the Browning BPR Performance 22lR 36 Grain Hollow Point Rimfire 400 round Ammo. I was surprised how well they shot in my Henry 22rifle H001. Read reviews about how bad they are. Well, I disagree with that assumption. I have not had a single problem with this ammo. I even cleaned...

Experienced shooter
Poor quality and lots of problems. Misfires and poor accuracy Ammunition was not very good shape as of poor manufacturing 40 percent or better would be damaged or go way off course I will never buy this product again and will not recommend it to anyone
Highly recommend.
Everything from optics to ammo. I've purchased from optics planet several times now, and it's always a good experience. Easy to order, fast shipping, updates on your order from purchase to delivery. Site us very easy to navigate. Prices are great. Highly recommend.

BPR accuracy
Not as accurate as I thought it would be. Fired from a TX22, poor grouping.

Failures every shot
Failed to extract out of cricket 22, issc m22 pistol, marlin model 60, Nashville arms Co revolver. I tried shooting these rounds out of all my 22's and I had the same thing out of all of these guns failure to extract.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Cheaply made & poorly finished
Best Used for:
- A good paper weight
Would recommend: No
Causes excessive lead fouling
This ammo cause excessive lead fouling which is very hard to clean. A couple of times the bullet nose deformed and caused feeding issues. In all other aspects (no ftf, cycles well, consistent) this ammo seems ok.

works great in my 10/22
I’ve had issues with other brands in my bx-25 mags especially the Aguila with the goo all over it but minimal problems with this round. Only reason for 4 stars is the amount of anomalies. Velocity is okay and expansion is good

Mostly duds
I have a Cooey 64B with a strong ejector spring so I need high velocity ammo just so it would cycle the rounds. I bought 4 boxes of browningBPR because the ballistics looked good. First box at the indoor range I tried 6 rounds and none of them fired! I had some Winchester ammo with me and they worked in the semi auto 64B. The 6 dud Browning rounds worked in my bolt action rifle though. The semi auto made nicks in the rim but they would not fire in that rifle which tells me that there is a design flaw somewhere on the rims of the ammo.
Pros:
- Nice packaging
Cons:
- Do not work
Best Used for:
- paper weight

Duds Galore
Unfortunately, I purchased two 400 round boxes. Never have I experienced so many misfires. I shoot Winchester, Remington, Blazer, and Aguila with virtually none, so I know it is the ammo and not my rifle. If it were a bolt action, it wouldn't be so inconvenient, but with a semi-auto it puts a real kink in my rapid fire drills! For the sake of others, I hope this is just a couple of bad lots and not a consistent product defect.

get what you pay for
I used this ammo with an AR-15 with a CMMG 22lr conversion kit and an 8” barrel. I purchased this ammo because CMMG recommends 36 grain ammo for the best functionality. I fired about 200-250 rounds and the only issue I had was failures to do extract. It would happen 2-10 times for each 25 round magazine. Besides that, it shot fine for what it’s worth. I didn’t have any extraction issues firing CCI ammo on my last range day so I’ll probably go back to it once I run through the rest of the Browning box. When I was last reloading my magazines, I noticed that some of the bullets could be twisted and spun around inside the casing rather easily which seems pretty sketchy to me and is more reason for me not to buy it again.
Pros:
- Affordable
Cons:
- Low quality
- failure to extract
Best Used for:
- Bolt Action
