Browning Horse Hair Sling
This horse hair sling is great very hi quality sling im very happy with it you can dull the shiny brass hardware on the sling with a brass toothbrush if its to shiny for uou and dont forget to pick up a set of Allen sling swivels the set is about ten bucks part (# 14512)

Very nice sling
It's well constructed, clean looking, and durable. I wanted something with a bit more to it for a new rifle other than a traditional leather sling and this sling definitely fit that criteria. I couldn't be happier with it.

No Horsing around
Great product. This is the 5th horsehair sling from Browning I have purchased for my rifles. They are all outstanding and all still in use.
Very comfortable and practical. The addition of the thumb loop gives you outstanding control as you carry the rifle.

Great sling
Have three of them. Very comfortable and hold up extremely well. No odor. Well made and will bring many compliments as to how they add to the looks of the rifle. Goes great on standard rifle as well as tactical. They do not slide off your shoulder and they dry quickly after getting wet. I like them especially because they are very quiet on the weapon. They have a thumb loop which is very handy when carrying the rifle. A little on the expensive side but you definitely get what you pay for with this sling.

Looks Nice
Quality on these is great for 90% of what you might want a sling for, when you get into the nitty grittyy, the dye is only applied on the outside of the leather to the inside where the straps are folded over for the sling swivels is untreated and really detracts from the overall impression of the product. a little disappointing for such an expensive product. Also sling swivels would be nice at this price point. The hardware is all brass, good luck finding anything to match that...

BROWNING HORSEHAIR RIFLE SLING
Married this sling to a Browning BL22 (.22 cal. lever action). Fantastic !! Function is as good as it's gonna get, and the esthetics are perfect. Iv'e heard some reviews that said the horsehair frayed...I have not seen that....and unless its totally falling out, then that's something to be sorry about. I take very good care of my weapons and related equipment, let's just remember that they are rifles to use (not abuse) but to actually use them and have them look like it. Gives a gun some character vs. looking like a museum piece.
I will buy another sling (same model as a gift to a good hunting buddy. Thank you Optics for great delivery, and sending me exactly what I ordered.

Great sling
very high-quality sling I love the thumb loop I have bought all three colors that are available the price was great at Optics planet,I highly recommend this product. I bought the first sling many years ago and the leather has broken in real nice and the horse hair has also stood up very, nice very happy with the swing.

Top quality sling
Excellent quality. This sling looks and functions great on my Winchester 1885. It really adds to the traditional look of the Winchester falling block and carries the gun well without sliding off my shoulder. I would highly recommend this sling and it is well worth the price.

Great looking sling
I recently picked up a new in box B-78 which dates to 1973. I needed a nice sling and ordered one of these. I couldn't be happier. It looks great, holds the rifle very comfortably on my shoulder and is well made right here in the USA. If you're looking to add a little to the appearance of your rifle and get some functionality at the same time, this si the sling for you.
