Most Helpful Positive Review Great cameras
I bought 3 of them for the 2018 deer scouting season. The cameras take very clear videos and pics. The hinged door makes changing cards quick and easy. So far the battery life seems better than other cameras I use.
Most Helpful Negative Review Worked great for 18 months
I have bought 7 Browning trail cameras, various models. Of those seven, 5 are broken. The reason I bought so many is that I purchased 3 originally and was very happy with how they performed. So I bought 4 more after a year. What went wrong? On one, it was clearly sucking batteries very quickly and t...

Works part of the time.

by Randy Hall, from MO, United States Written on July 12, 2021
As Mr. Saisieder had problems, I also had problems with the Browning Spec Ops camera. I've had this camera about a month. I might add that have been using game cams for years and probably used some of the first digital cams. My Spec Ops camera would work part of the time. When it worked it worked great. Unlike Mr. Saisieder I did get ahold of Browning. I don't think he missed anything. I was told my card speed was too fast for the camera. I used Sandisk 128 gb Extreme PRO SDXC 170mb/s class 10 cards which is within the specs that is recommended. I was also told that my use of Duracell batteries were also causing a problem because when they get to 70% they need replaced. Again they are within the specs that are recommended. I was told to get Energizer lithium batteries, they work down to 30-35%. They are sending me a smaller, slower Browning card to fix my problem. I have two more Browning game cams and they work great using those same batteries and SD cards. Now I'm stuck with two expensive cards that I don't need because I have the same 4 cards for my other two cameras so I can just switch them out when checking my cameras. The pros? It takes great pictures when working, small size, camouflage, should accept large capacity SD cards for tons of pictures and several ways to mount it. The cons? You never know if it will even accept an empty SD card or if it will work if it does except them. The card slot is on the bottom instead of on the side as with my other cameras which mak...
