A lot more scope than you think!
This is my second 3200 Elite scope. I needed a mildot scope to put on a Mk14 SOPMOD for a tactical match and didn't want to plunk down cash for a Night just yet so I figured I'd try a low cost model to experiment. Turns out this particular 10X 3200 is thought of well enough that it's actually ment...

GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY, BUT ISSUES WITH THE SCOPE PARALLAX.
Pros: good buy for the money
Cons: issues with paralax
Bushnell elite 3200 10x40
Used the scoope last weekend for sealhunting in Lofoten (Northern Norway). Much snow and seasprey but the scope showed no sign of fogging up. For the price you get clear glass. I have tried it out to 350 meters and the clicks work just fine.

Great Value
This is a very good fixed 10X scope. Very bright and weather resistant. Turret knobs have a very good feel and audible click.
Has held up for several months of long distance shooting.
Also the Bushnell "No Questions Asked" money back for 1 year policy removes all risk.
Pros: Great value, clarity and brightness, very solid
Cons: No side focus, limited eye relief

Good Budget Scope
Strong, durable scope that has maintained zero after at least 70 rounds of .308. That is how many I have shot so far. Setup required shimming, but this was likely a mounting issue. My only issue was the generic instructions that came with it. The mil-dot instructions are for adjustable objective scopes and different magnifications than this, but it is a 10X scope so if you don't know how to use mil-dots, you can readily find instructions online.
Pros: Easy to use, excellent for starters.
Cons: Generic Instructions

Bushnell Elite 10x40mm mil dot scope
I bought my first bushnell 10x40 mil dot scope 6 or 7 years ago... It has held up to the elements and dialing over that period of time without any type of failures..
the mils and adjustments are precise and I have hit steel at 700m with all three of the ones I have..
I've mounted them on AR-15s where they stay, and after my first brush up close with a moveing coyote at night last year, the scopes were remounted into larue tactical mounts with his fastfire attachments.
Eye alignment is critcal with this scope, move even the slightest horizontally and the FOV will halve.. Up close and moveing targets are hard to hit with this scope also, so keep that in mind if you are a stalk or call predator hunter .
I like them...
Pros: price, easy and precise adjustment, clear
Cons: eye alignment is critical, close range usage

Bushnell 10x40mm Elite 3200
I bought this scope based on reviews saying it was sharp and clear, along with the 10x magnification with +/- 40 MOA adjustment range. I expected a razor-sharp image since the glass can be tuned perfectly for the fixed magnification, but was a bit disappointed. I did manage a 0.5" group at 100 yards, so it's an effective scope.
I do wear glasses, but I haven't been able to find a focus setting that makes both a target at 100 yards and the mil-dot reticle clear, I find my eyes will focus on the reticle and the target is fuzzy. I'm not sure what the minimum focal distance of this scope is, but I was unable to focus clearly on anything in my house or backyard. Probably not a fair comparison, but that's pretty poor compared with the 4x ACOG I have on my AR-15. This scope may be tuned for 200 yards or farther, I'm not sure, and like I said I was able to get a pretty tight grouping at 100 yards.
The adjustments appear to be solid and accurate, although the turrets are pretty huge. The wide adjustment range allows scaling the zero from 100 yards to 1000 yards on a .308 load with a 20 MOA base, with some tolerance for error. I'm not sure if I'll be able to see a target at 1000 yards, but I'm planning to find out. This is the only scope I know of with 10x magnification in this price range with such a wide adjustment range.
The eye relief is a bit narrow and I find I have to put my cheek right at the front of the comb on my stock, but it's a relatively clear image from that po...

Meat and potatoes scope
I was a little hesitant in buying this scope for two reasons. 1) It has a fixed magnification and 2) It only has a 40mm objective. Starting with #1 the fixed magnification at 10X is standard for all military USMC M40 and Army M24 sniper rifles. Its a great balance of long and short range magnification and I'm actually growing fond of it. It focuses in clearly from 40yds and over. Ok reason #2, the 40mm objective. I really thought this was going to be a bit of an issue as I'm so used to 50mm scopes and having gobs of light entering in on the large objective. I haven't had any problems at all actually. There is an immense amount of light coming through. If this was a varible 3.5-24x40 then I might run into some problems but with the fixed 10x its just right. This is the elite line of Bushnell so optics are of top quality and very clear....no issues there. Just to give you a idea of my judgment I actually own a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50 and personally I think its optics are fine also. With that said there is a mark clarity improvement with the Elite line though. This scope is mounted on a Remi 700 Police SWAT .308 and is used for target and hunting. I love the detailed optics, great looking conservative cosmetics, gold/black mildot and most of all the great range with the tactical turrets. I love the ability to grab my IPhone and use the BulletFlight ballistic app and adjust wind/elevation on the fly. Most of all I love the price. This scope really should be more like...

This is almost as good as the Leupold MK 4 M1 but only 20% of the cost. You won't be disappointed....
