Missed the Buck

Nice looking knife. Unfortunately the automatic opening function doesn't work. The action is very weak and only opens half way. Have tried breaking it in, but it hasn't helped. I literally have snap my wrist while pressing the button in order to get the knife to fully open. It takes the same amount of effort to open my Buck Ranger Sport with the thumb stud. Sorry buck.... huge miss on this one. Not worth the price tag at all

Purpose of buck 110 auto elite

This knife is great for doing judicious slicing… as a street defense, cutting paper tape, flesh et.al. It is not a work knife as the original 110. The blade is extremely sharp but has too much play to use as a utility tool. Also the SV blade is high maintenance to sharpen. The g10 scales are fantastic. Still, very nice to own & carry. My particular specimen is well made & works perfectly. I like it, but if I have tough work I use my old 110. It’s easy to sharpen & the blade lock works are tight even after decades of use.

They finally upgraded a classic... Buck 110 fever..

This is the best auto that I own. Blade is tight..No play in it whatsoever.. it is heavy like the original with improved blade steel.. If you want a quality knife that you can pass down for generations this is it..
