Bulldog Vault Review
Excellent product! Large enough for my 2 guns, extra magazines and extra ammo. Could fit even more, but not to large to keep on my nightstand so my personal protection is right where I need it. I like the padded bottom to protect my fire arms and the base pads to protect my furniture. Easy to program code and I like the quiet feature so no one can hear you opening the safe.
Would recommend: Yes
You get what you pay for
Key would not work right out of box. You get what you pay for. Any good company would be testing prior to packaging. 200 characters is a little long for a review. You should not waste your money on this product.

Bulldog Handgun Safe
Seems lightweight. Holes in bottom are not large enough for a locking cable to pass. Really, really hate that it takes 6 numbers to open the door. Numbers are not lighted and hard to see in the dark. Really do not care for the beep for every number touched. Too much of an alarm during the night. But, I can live with it.

The vault must open every time and it does not!
I am not happy with the vault. It is hard to open each time. You have to use the com two or three times before it will open You sent me a new celenoide (?) that did improve some what. but not 100%. This is bad construction.
Pros: It does lock and protect the contents

Large enough to hold several handguns, small enough to fit inside cabinet: perfect!. Easy setup for combination. Layout of keypad allows use in the dark. Six digit combination ideal for securing handguns from children. Excellent value!!

Not bad, but....
Door gets stuck if you don't place items far into the safe. Also, in an emergency situation, having the keyboard beeping will compromise your position.

Review of Bulldog Pistol Safe
This was a very good price for a very adequately sized pistol safe, as well as cash or other valuables. It protects the contents. It is not fire safe, but still a very good alternative for the very pricey safes.
Pros: good Price, adequate size for ammo and 2 pistols. Easy to access by electronic entry with accessory key as well. I have attach it to the wall at the rear of a book case, and the safe is covered behind a row of books.

I needed a good safe to keep a full sized handgun for home protection in the compartment of my be headboard. The size was perfect and yet big enough inside to store extra clips and several boxes of ammo. Works perfectly.
