Excellent scout scope! - Burris Scout 2.75x20mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane (SFP) Rifle Scope

With my eyes aging I needed an upgrade from my Weaver 4X scout, which possess a thin, target style reticle which was becoming difficult to see in low light. I also wanted a lower magnification as I consider this a 150-yard and under rifle.
This Burris fit the bill perfectly, IMO, and performs like a champ on my Marlin 444P Outfitter. Its smaller size matches up well with this stubby little rifle. I haven't owned a Burris in nearly 20 years so I was shocked when I first looked through it. It is an incredibly bright and clear scope, and its heavy reticle is easily visible in low light conditions. Zeroing was a breeze, and within 10 rounds I was shooting the usual 2" groups @ 100 yards...but this time under much more favorable conditions than previously. I highly recommend!!!
