Most Helpful Positive Review 3x12 Burris Scope
I see people complaining about the eye relief of this scope, then commenting that Leupold is much better. I guess that is true, but the Leupold is only 8x. I prefer to deal with the ER to gain the extra power. The ballistic plex reticle is nice also.Burris now has a lifetime transferable warranty on all handgun scopes. Burris advertises that they take handgunners seriously, and I believe that to be true. Pros: 12 power with AO/ ballistic plex reticle/ price Cons: Nothing I have found

Burris 3-12 handgun scope

Looks good, it should just what the Dr. ordered. I have not mounted it yet, rings and base still in the works. I have no doubt that it will work well based upon my experience with other Burris optics.

Good scope for a TC Contender

Got this instead of the 2-7 power scope. Works well with the TC Contender. Limitations of the scope are its bell size but this is a handgun scope and is made for that purpose. Does not have parallax issues as the 2-7 power scope. eye relief is plenty. Would probably buy another one. Waiting to see how long it lasts.

Outstanding Optics

This scope is really nice. Well made and very clear optics.
The only complaint is that it doesn't come with lens caps.
I have it on my Ruger MKIII Hunter and it is a nail driver at 25 yards.
The scope is easily adjustable for focus and magnification.
I need the adjustable objective since I wear glasses and this really works well.

Burris is Best

I have used Burris rifle scopes for many years. I appreciate the combination of product build quality and application to rifle scope mounting and use. Labeling this scope as a handgun scope must ensure someone mistakenly puts it in the traditional rifle mount location. It works fine on my .308 Springfield M1A Scout Squad. It would work well on the Ruger Frontier series and other brands. At the range, it zeroed in quickly. It is the only 12 power "long eye relief" scope I have seen on the market. Many brand names come and go but Burris hangs in there with great products.

good scope

good scope, generally. Optics clear. Not surprisingly, very limited FOV on 12X. Adjustment designed to eliminate parallax doesn't seem real accurate. Using it on military bench rest cast bullet rifle. Big help over 7x scopes.

rings burris is to cheap to include lens covers! this is a small but necessary item.
Pros: great scope put on my S&W460
