Wonderful Scope For The Price

Disappointed
I am an avid shooter. 10yrs as a Corrections Deputy with the local Sheriffs Dept; Gunsmithing and shooting are two of my primary hobbies. I grew up in WY with an avid hunter/shooter as a father who started us very young.
I first mounted this AR536 on a FAL rifle, but was unable to get a full fie...

works better than advertised
Recently installed and have only shot at 30 yards on door range. So far with less than 100 rounds, the product is everything that I expected Have not used all the feature and have a laser to install on the rail. When I can get the gun on 100 yard range in low light with the laser, will see how it performs. Would recommend the product for small caliber rifles. Large bore rifles at ranges beyond 100-125 yards, the scope doesn't have the magnification. It replaced a 1 power EOTech 510 Series 512-A65 Holographic CQB Weapon Sight. The Burris is a huge up grade. For 50- 150 yards, this is a good scope and good value for the money.
Pros:
- good reticle, good value and appears to be well constructed
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- short range, 556/223 rifles

Canted reticle
This is a great scope. Really like the battle reticle. But the reticle is canted to the left about 6 degrees. Now I will have to send it off to Burris to have it fixed before I can use it. If it wasn’t for that, I would have given it a 5 star review.
Pros:
- Great looking reticle
Cons:
- canted reticle
Best Used for:
- CQB

Great Burris product
This is my predator hunting go to for close to medium rams work. The reticle works perfect for my rifles and the addition of a fastfire III red dot make close moving shots a breeze. One con, getting eye relief set right can be tricky.

Best of both
I love these for my AR's. Great clarity, excellent sight size and brightness settings for dark and broad daylight. I bought a 1-6 power scope, doesn't compare at all. High recommend. I wish it came with a qd release, the only down side for me.

Great Item
Really like the Burris AR-536; wider field of view than most and really like the 5x magnification, excellent optics, very easy to see red/green dot. Only negative is the crosshair is off a bit. Mounted on a Bushmaster 450 AR and it is a great match.

Burris 333
First I’m not a gun smith. And you don’t have to be to set this up and get it sighted and mounted. The hight and side adjustment are easy. The cover caps are attached and don’t get lost. And the elevation chart is easy to use and accurate. I purchased a second unit because I liked it so much
Pros:
- Easy to set up and dial in
Cons:
- Would like more magnification and thinner cross hairs
Would recommend: Yes

AR-536 Burris scope
I had already purchased the AR-332 Burris and loved it so much, I decided t step up to the AR-536 to get a little more magnification. I wasn't disappointed! The 536 not only has more magnification, but a more prevalent reticle making it even easier to see in daylight and night. As I had already found out with the 332, the 536 was extremely easy to zero and tough as nails durability. These scopes add hardly any weight to my AR and looks great on the rifle.I would highly recommend both scopes, but am finding out I am liking the higher magnification even more. You won't regret either one for close quarters shooting as well as 100 yards plus. The color reticles make finding your sight quickly is great. I like the lowest setting for low light or night use and make it plenty visible for this use. I think you will be as satisfied as I am with the Burris scopes of either magnification. They're both great.
Pros:
- Good quality, good eye relief on my AR, and great looking. Easy to operate and zero.
- Good quality, very durable, great looking and good eye relief on my AR.
Cons:
- None for me.
Best Used for:
- Close quarters to easily 100 yards plus

Burris AR-536 Prism Sight 5X
This is a beautiful product! This is very well made with awesome optics. You can't go wrong with Burris. I was going to return for optics with lower magnification, but I couldn't convince myself to give up the 36mm size. I highly recommend this for any of your ARs. The price break over the holidays made this too hard to pass up.
Pros:
- Price
- Install
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- AR platfrorm 15

Clear glass. CQB reticle. Multiple illuminations. Sturdy.
This is a solid and clear optic. it has 11 illumination settings. 5 green and 5 red with a black reticle when off or batteries are dead. It has tethers for the W/E adjustment caps (a nice bonus) and picatinny rails at 3, 12 and 9'O-clock. The focus-ring is awesome and allows me to shoot with or without my glasses and dials in targets crisp when moving from 100-300 yard targets. I have a Burris Fastfire III mounted on the top rail and a small laser mounted on the 9'o-clock position. Wow! It comes with a sunshield and both front and back lens caps. Sturdy as can be but with that, also a bit heavy for those counting ounces. As many others have commented, the eye relief could be better but all I need to do is adjust my stock a bit and... good to go. No big deal on a proper AR setup with an adjustable stock. One of the main reasons I went with this, aside from looking for a fixed-5X optic, is the warranty. No receipt, no question asked forever warranty. So for those complaining that the reticle is canted, send it in and have them replace it! Duh! Another possible con that I hear about, and agree with a bit but have since adjusted, is that the center dot of the reticle is a bit large and covers most small targets at 100 yards but... there are other elements of the CQB reticle that allow you to compensate. The CQB reticle is RIGHT-ON, at least for me. Pinging steel using consistently at 300 yards using the provided reticle. this is also great for those of us with astigmatism. The et...
