Not My Favorite Purchase

I bought this to pair up with an Aimpoint micro T1. It seemed like a good idea to extend the range of my AR. After mounting and looking through both the red dot got all distorted and unusable. I thought it might be a problem with my eyes but a trip to the doctor confirmed that they were good. I don’t have an explanation but ended up giving it away. A failed experiment for me.

Did not work for me

I ordered and mounted the magnifier with my Aimpoint T1 micro. It definitely added some weight and took up rail space. It was mounted firmly but was kind of cumbersome. I also had issues with it distorting the dot on my Aimpoint. I ended up taking it off and selling it. Didn’t work for me.

Amazing product

Very clear glass, very easy install, easy to work the sturdy flip mount and works perfectly with my Aimpoint micro H1 red dot. Flawlessly lined up with my optic and doesn’t need any special tools to install either. I would highly recommend this to anyone whose vision isn’t the best and could use some magnification with their red dot.

Nothing that isn’t high quality

The mount is very well constructed, nifty pin to hold the tightening nut (see the instructions) and very nice quick disconnect arm. The mechanism to release and rotate has a well made feel and is easy to operate. The optics seem very clear, excellent really. It’s easy to center your scope dot in the multiplier with the provided tool (really a very thin screw driver). Eye relief is adequate but it must be mounted as far back on the rail as possible. This lacks nothing IMO. Can’t speak to how well it holds up but all indications are that it will work well for a long time.

Added this to my rifle with an Aimpoint PRO and it fit behind it perfectly. Very clear glass and quality construction. You can pay more for other red dot magnifiers but this one is excellent for the price. Great price and quick shipping from Optics Planet!

Good for older eyes

I had eye surgery some years ago and have scars on my cornea. With my red dot, I'll get some star burst effect. With the AR-Tripler, the effect is greatly reduced and the 3x magnification helps too.

The optics seem to be really good, though you do need to have it at most 2.5" from the eye.

Burris AR Tripler 3x magnifier

Great quality product, sits pretty well behind my Sigt Romeo5 red dot.Thought it would give my a little magnification when zeroing red dot at distance.It swings out of the way when not needed.Added some weight to rifle,but manageable.

Great Bargain

As with Most optics for the price I was concerned with clarity and eye relief. I am using behind and Eotech and am more than happy with both. In the past I’ve owned others but this Burris outperformed in both those categories and I highly recommend and if needed again I will by myself

Best one for the money, hands down.

Very clear glass. I use one of these with an Eotech and one win an Aimpoint PRO. Fits behind them both like a glove. BUIS on the rear will force ya to put your red dot a bit forward. But this only takes up two slots of your rail. Mount is very tight and true and holds firm. I would trust this optic to do it's job even after I have banged one of them around quite a bit.

I mounted this scope behind a holographic sight and was extremely pleased with the results. If I do not need the magnification I can just quickly and easily pivot it out of the way. I am very happy with this purchase!!
