This is a monocular that has the accessory option for a clip on. But Burris does not have any available "clip on" adapters, Burris Customer support will continue to say we should be getting them made and in stock in a few months and they don't know the price for the clip on adapters yet. Burris website will delete any reviews that are negative about them not having a clip on. Don't be like me and buy one thinking you will be able to use it and go hunting. It ruined a hunt when I got it in and no way to mount to scope.

Burris must have partnered with an overseas company on these. They are a rebranding of a model sold in the UK/Japan. This is not a Clip On, yet. They do not come with, nor are there any adapters available to make it a slip on. Right now, it’s a clip on capable unit. You get no adapter, you get a universal battery charger that makes no sense, because they don’t send you rechargeable batteries to use it with and honestly unless you know how to hunt for just the right mah CR123 rechargeable, they don’t give you that much run time on a rechargeable to be worth using them. It is feature less beyond Hot Track and switching color option modes. There is a bulky proprietary USB-6pin cable so you can port the video over to a mini DVR unit. It does not identify as a USB camera on a computer or other device. But the additional few pixels you get from the sensor do offer a clean image.

I have seen some marketing overseas for the adapters that are roughly $125US equivalent. I most certainly hope that is not the price we are expected to pay for each adapter after sending this amount on this unit and getting so little. Most competitor devices, from companies that have a history in thermal, unlike Burris who must have had some kids come in and say they need to get on the thermal train, offer more.

Also, you may notice, the Burris Forever Warranty, does NOT apply to these.

Burris, you should be ashamed.
