Most Helpful Positive Review OK but not great
I have had a number of the original Fastfire sights for a lot of years and been very happy with them. Thought I would try this one with the new features but really nothing that is exciting. The levels of brightness are OK but not as adjustable as I would like. The multiple reticles really do nothing...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not Ready for Release
I purchased the Fastfire 2 and the Fastfire 3, I also own two Burris Scopes. I think they jump the gun a little on the Fastfire 4 this was not ready to release. I got this and mounted it on a Glock 9mm, the large circle with the small dot is great, allowed for fast acquisitions of targets and super...

Meehhhhhhh

by RSChris, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 1, 2025
Only 3 brightness settings. Too dim, just right, and twice as bright as the sun. Not enough elevation adjustment for my application, and I have had other red dots on the same pistol the had plenty of adjustment. Window not tall enough for my liking. Easily $100 too much for this unit. Find something else.
Pros:
  • multi reticle

A 4 , looking towards a 5 stars ?

by Slappy, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on January 10, 2024
Have Burris FastFire 3 on range/plink pistol & a Trijicon RMR T2 on M16 clone paired w/ ACOG. This FastFire 4 goes on Henry .357 lever. Outside of the necessary defense wake-on-move w/ RMR, the function and service of the FF3 has been equally exceptional and function & features ideal here for general & range toy use at a price that promotes more than one. Hence this FF4. Initial function & experience suggests a review could get 5 stars based upon FF3 experience & what little I know today & how well the multi-reticle flexibility pans out - but it is early yet. Under 100 rounds activity, and all good.

Glass fell out of the optic during a range session. Overall less than 700 rounds. Was installed on a A13B optic plate for Springfield prodigy. Very poor quality. Sent a message to Burris regarding repairs and/or warranty. Have not heard back from them at this time. Unacceptable.

Good, what I wanted, & needs one more feature

by salvarsan, from TX, United States Written on October 12, 2023
Perhaps I've led a charmed existence but my FF4 hasn't been a problem. The multi-reticle feature makes it serviceable for both Steel Challenge and target. Without changing steel sights, it's low enough profile for 1/10 co-witness geometry on my Springfield XD Elite. It hasn't failed, dimmed, or otherwise misbehaved in the last 18 months.

In a perfect world, it would be a shake-awake RDS and the auto-shutoff would be after 30 minutes instead of 8 hours.

I love it more than my vortex venoms. Great sight picture and target acquisition . I love the different reticles. It is universal sight for many applications. Buy it you will not be disappointed.
