I added this for close up target acquisition inside 100 yards. It works great it's very small yet great field of view very clear dot. I really had fun with it first time. Fast to zero.

It would be fine for a gun that is kept in a safe and not expected to perform anywhere but the range. The application I intended to use it for was mounting on a shotgun for upland game. After mounting it and looking through it, I was afraid the dot would be too small and too dim to pick up against a bright sky background. The brightness is not adjustable, it automatically adjusts, and doesn’t get bright enough in my opinion. It would be fine indoors, or in low light. I ended up buying a different optic for my intended application.

It is the perfect companion to my remington 870 ! I'm thinking about getting another one!

This reflex sight is awesome. If I didn't know anything else about it, the warranty would be enough for me to buy and try. It is easily sighted in and it retains it integrity well. I have several Burris optics and although the warranty is fantastic, I haven't had to use it at all for any of my Burris optics so the quality is obvious.

I have these sights on all my rifle. This one went on a .22 pistol. They're very tough.

Came as described . Price was best I’ve seen in a while. Fitment was correct with proper base or rail. Have not used yet due to other factors. I would buy again.

works great on a Ruger mark4 pistol. Easy to install and adjust.

I was excited to receive this, but after mounting it I’ve found that the reticle is so hard to find to get on target, which is exactly the opposite of why I purchased this optic. I’ve adjusted both screws to their limits on either end and everywhere else in between to no avail as the reticle stays in the upper left hand area of the sight.

Good size sight, but does take getting use to finding dot when first drawing weapon. Easy to adjust windage and elevation with provided tools. Maintains zero after using sight to rack slide and digesting a 100+ 45 hardball and a clip full of 45 super. Able to make one hole groups off hand at 10 yards with my 60 year old eyes. It has been a long time since I could do that with iron sights.

During a recent training school, a few guys had reflex sights on their pistols. Witnessing for myself their superior accuracy and speed transitioning targets, I was convinced.

My SO does not purchase such accessories but does not prevent Deputies from doing so. It was on me to decide if this was a worthy investment. After a lot of research I bought this one as:
(A) it’s Burris. It is a brand of good reputation
(B) I got it and the mounting base for a reasonable price through OpticsPlanet compared to other brands.

I mounted this myself and went out to get it set for action. I went through ALL the ammo I brought with me. Not because it was difficult to set but because I was thrilled. It was so much fun to shoot! I could see and feel immediate improvement. I am a good shot but this was better.

Bad news, I dropped my pistol on a sidewalk about two weeks later. It landed on the sight. I took it out to retest it? Zero is perfect. Cosmetic damage but this sight endured.

What you need to know?

- It’s an older generation. It doesn’t have the auto start from motion and it doesn’t automatically shut off if you leave it on. What I have found is that with some practice and repetition I can easily flip it on coming out of the holster with my thumb.

- If you are left handed, it won’t be as easy to operate. The switch is in a good position for the thumb to access for right handed shooters.
