Burris scope mounts for Sako Finnbear
Sako has a tapered dovetail machined into the receiver.A very solid system.The mounts fit perfectly for rigid mount.I like these better than the Sako factory mounts.

Burris X-Bolt bases
I ordered these for a project rifle, (not an x-bolt) but did not use them due to a change in my design. Not only was Optics Planet the cheapest, including private sellers on eBay, but was about the only retailer that still lists them. I did return them and Optics Planet made the process painless. Normally I would not return one small part, but OpticsPlanet only had one set in stock when I ordered, since I can’t return the two sets I bought for higher prices from two separate eBay privateers, I didn’t need 3 sets hanging on the workbench.

My favorite bases
Perfect fit to receiver. Visually pleasing as well. Solid construction. With the reversible rear (windage adjustable), in either direction, unlike virtually all other bases, this one clears the breech completely offering a clean, pleasant aesthetic. Fit to ring on the dovetail side is too tight (which was in the past, NOT the case) - this includes Burris Signature rings which, you would think, would be a perfect fit. Still, I give these a top rating!

solid extension mounts
bought the extension mount so that I could move the scope rearward to gain a full scope sight picture. These mounts allowed me to do that. Solid, low cost mount for those who like the dovetail type mounts.

Superb Bases
Burris is well known for thier quality products and these bases are no exception. Installation is same as for any basses, but these have exceptional fit and finish. The best feature is in their rear windage adjustment. When combined with the Burris Signature rings, you can easily mount your scope perfectly. I choose the nickle finsih as it works well with my stainless Savage actions. Adjustments in the rear base gave me a perfect scope mount, and I combined these with the Burris Signature rings. There are products that will do - then there are products like this which exceed expectations. I highly recomend these - particularly if you have the need to get a precise mount for your scope (and combine these with the Signature rings).

These bases are hard to find. They are for 30-06 Sauer rifle.

Usual Burris Quality
I have been using Burris bases for years and they have never let me down. Fit and finish has always been exceptional and is expected. The TU line gives you a wide variety of applications.

Perfect for Stainless Steel Barrels
I have these mounted on my SS Remington 700 and they match the silver of the barrel nicely. Excellent mount, looks great.
