Much better than aluminum bases
Could not get my Savage 10ML II to hold zero for more than a few shots. I suspected the scope and checked it on another rifle and it was fine , so next I changed the mount system from all aluninum to the Burris all steel bases and steel rings. Rifle now shoots 1 1/2" groups @ 100yds and stays zeroed...

Xtreme Tactical Steel Base One Peice 25 MOA Rem 700 SA Picatinny Rail
First the Good.
It appears well made, it fit just fine and has a built in recoil lug that prevents the shearing of the 6-48 screws.
The Bad.
There are four supplied torx screws two short for the front and two long for the rear.

Used on Weatherby Vanguard
Worked great for me. I havent run hundreds of round through it yet, but after about 100, its still holding zero.
Easy to install and light weight. It fit just fine on my Weatherby and for the price, I feel its really hard to beat.

Bases are well made, mounting holes lined up perfectly,but after mounting scope i could not get the eye relief to fit my personal fit. One piece piccatinny rail gives you much more positions for mounting.

Wrong size screws!
These bases came with 6-48 size screws, my savage ultralight rifle requires 8-40 size screws. Had the correct size screws been supplied i would have given these a 5 rating. Optics planet has a good refund policy.

Burris Xtreme tactical scope 2 peice base
Mounted easy and the scope fit the base very well. After sting in the gun scope is very secure do not think I will have to worry as long as I do not drop the gun. Optics Planit very good, will buy from them agane.

Burris scope bases
These bases and the Burris rings with windage and elevation inserts I got with them allowed me to mount a Swarovski Z3 scope on an old Winchester Model 70 in 264 Winchester Magnum. The 6MM and 6.5 Creedmoor stuff got nothin' on me now. 1.5" groups at 300 yards. Yee haw.
Just goes to show that sometimes the old timers got it right....again. Great products, great technical support and great results. This old Winchester's voice can be heard again and she don't stutter!

Very good fit
Fits tightly on my howa hcr. It’s steel so it’s heavier than aluminum if that is an issue. It feels rigid and has a tight lockup on the receiver. There is a recoil lug situated on the front end of the receiver which adds security if the hardware is compromised

410653 - One piece Remington 700 SA Base
A very solid rail. Easy to install. Came with tool.
The only caution is that it interferes with the handguard on the Gen2 XLR Carbon chassis. I had to cut off the last 2 lugs and grooves to get clearance from this piece. Obviously not a fault of the product.
Installed with no other problems on Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD Barreled action in .308 Winchester.

Weaver 2 piece bases
These bases are well machined and fit perfect on my rifle, would surely buy again. They were installed on my Savage 12 22-250 rifle. I cleaned the base holes in the rifle and the screws, then also cleaned off the mating surface of the bottom of the scope basses for a very good mating surface. I torqued the screws at the recommended inch punds so they have stayed at the recommended setting.

Long range equipment
Excellent product. Using with Niteforce rings and scope. Getting better than expected results. I set up customers rifles with many options. Having used this base, I will be recommending it for all applications. The price is only slightly higher than the competitors products. I also use the Burris extreme rings with good results on one inch tubed scopes.
