Great Binos

by Mike, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on March 8, 2019
I bought a pair of 8x42 legend L series and they were great but ended up giving them to a family member who really wanted a pair of binoculars so I bought a pair of 10x42 legend L series in camo. These are just as nice only in 10 power. For the cost I don't think you will find a better set of binoculars anywhere! I really like the camo version great for hunting. These are light weight very well made and the glass is very clear and crisp. These things really look great and the feel is absolutely fantastic. This size is perfect for going on long hikes and they do come with their own carrying case. I love these binos so much I might get the M series just to have an extra pair. If your looking for a pair of binos and not sure which ones to get the legend series are going to be very hard to beat. I like them even more than Vortex and I really like Vortex products. The only con I can think of is the lens covers are a little bit on the loose side but not much. By the way Optics Planet is the only place that I would buy them from.
Pros:
  • light weight
  • Excellent value
  • Super clear glass
  • made very well
Cons:
  • Slightly loose front lens covers
Best Used for:
  • Hunting and bird watching
  • General glassing

Have used them out in the open, high brush and in the woods. They will give me the optics I want for hunting. I don't know what to say. They are better then expected. I have had them only few weeks. I am satisfied.

Bought these for a friend. We took them outside and I couldn't believe how bright and clear these binos are. Very nice camo pattern. You can't go wrong with these for the price. Better than my Nikon Monarch 5's.
Pros:
  • Brightness and clarity. Compact design.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Wildlife viewing, sporting events.

excellent quality, great value

by outlaw, from MD, United States Written on June 23, 2017
I read many comparisons on the internet and choose these over other higher priced binoculars, very clear and great light gathering for counting antlers just before dark when the deer usually come out to my farms.
Pros:
  • better then most higher priced binoculars
Cons:
  • rubber eye piece on one side comes off in lens covers some times, needs to be glued
Best Used for:
  • medium size makes them easy to carry and store in your car or atv, perfect for traveling, hunting or birdwatching

Great binocs.

by Bobbie J, from IN, United States Written on March 28, 2017
This is my first pair of binoculars I've bought in 20 years. I kinda knew they were going to be great but not this great. Seems most glass these days is soo much better than the stuff they put out back in the day. And these are a perfect example. Crisp clear glass. Nice tiny package. You can see very well on max magnification. If you heard great things about these and are going to buy them. Dont hesitate. You will love them.

good optic

by Alvaro, Verified Owner from AREQUIPA, Peru Written on November 10, 2016
Good value for money, but the neck strap could be improved. Its construction is very solid. The first impression is that it is of exelte quality. Today I use it to observe mountainous landscape and I did not miss any detail. Thanks Bushnell
Pros:
  • Good optical clarity.
Cons:
  • Neck strap
Best Used for:
  • Multi use
