no right ascension

I have a friend that has this telescope or similar. Let us just say it has the same mount. She has no manual. There is an adjustment for polar north. one for declination. but NO RIGHT ASCENSION! if you don't know what that means it corresponds to longitude. As the earth is rotating you need this third axis in order for your telescope to follow motion, which will become VERY apparent Very quickly. This telescope will be JUST FINE in your high rise apartment for spying on your neighbor in the opposite building, but totally worthless for celestial observation.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • NO RIGHT ASCENSION AXIS

I only bought this telescope because ast 25$ it was practically free. Ok, so the handset was lost as was the finder scope. Big deal. However, even at 25$ I thought about giving it back..... let's justajust say that this telescope requires an infinite amount of patience. Like said in the previous post- great for looking at the moon.....i guess
