I've been buying Bushnell products since childhood, but that's besides the point - it's a reputable company with a lifetime (25-yr?) warranty, just like Vortex. Now, I managed to score this 1-8x Bushnell LPVO on ebay for $200, unworried because of Bushnell's warranty. Sorry fellas. Comparing to my buddy's other optics, this is a very, very good quality scope. One thing me and my friends love is the rubberized throw lever. In fact, the throw lever can be unscrewed, removed entirely, or you can add *an additional* section, lengthening the lever. Pretty neat. The glass is very clear and I especially like the AR15-specific reticle and drop tree. It's tuned for 223/556 and the manual easily explains how to utilize the tree appropriately. The adjustment towers are very high quality and have very distinct 'clicks'. It has 11 brightness settings, #11 being very bright and is useful during the day. I did wonder if 1-8x is beyond my needs and if 1-6x would be sufficient, but after looking I found they're the same weight, so kept the 1-8x. Glad I did. Bushnell has been around for eons and while I haven't needed their customer service, I'm sure they'll be supportive if and when there's a problem.

For the money the scope isn’t bad. The glass is clear, all of the controls work good, pretty good reticle, the reticle brightness is good enough (not red dot bright) BUT the eye box on 8X is horrible. You just about need to be shooting from a bench to use it. Head position and cheek weld need to be just about perfect to see through the glass. I have old hunting scopes from the 70’s that do a better job at high power settings. It’s much better below 6x, I should have tried the 1-6 model instead. I’m disappointed not being able to easily use the upper power settings. That was the reason for this purchase. I don’t need another 1-4x scope. May end up digging deeper in the wallet and throwing this on the shelf.

Got this for my ar10. Nice glass. Illumination is bright. Quality is equal to the "higher end" scopes but much more affordable. Came with the Trybe doubler and it's like having 2 scopes for the price of one.

Very impressive scope for the money. I am think it will be equivalent to the strike eagle. Gunsmith whom mounted and bore sighted my new Bushnell scope equally impressed. Will sighting it in myself soon.

Awesome scope, really clear! Can see far and near really like the quality. . . . . . What else can I say I ts a scope too plus a lighted scope at that. The thing really scopes it out at 8x or a reddit dot at 1x. Useful

This is an awesome sight. Bright, clear glass and once you zero in at 100 yards the bdc calibration lines are dead on. You can’t beat the options on this sight stock from the factory. Don’t hesitate to purchase this one.

I had been looking for a scope for my new AR build, and I have to say, this is a great option. I wasn't sure about the reticle at first, but it really grew on my. For it's price, I think you should definitely consider it.
