Most Helpful Positive Review GOOD SLING
I was looking for an easy to use sling that would slip over the barrel and pistol grip of a shotgun. This sling fit the bill and made carrying the gun, when walking in and out of the woods, a much easier task. The sling is well padded, easily adjusted and compact enough that it doesn't snag brush a...

Most Helpful Negative Review Usable but not what I expected.
The sling is usable but not what I was expecting. The nylon webbing is of lower quality and looser weave than most other slings at the same price. The neoprene pad is comfortable but the edges are not finished or sealed in any way which will cause the fabric on the neoprene pad to peel back and th...

Great sling stays put!

The silicone bumps keep this sling in place on your shoulder, soft strong neoprene keeps it comfortable.

Best Gun Sling

by Jerry, from NC, United States Written on November 8, 2023
I have about five or six of these slings and can't recommend them enough. Very comfortable and rugged. They have a "spring" effect that allows them to flex while you're walking, making the gun seem even lighter. Highly recommended and at a good price.

Butler Creek Shotgun Comfort Sling

by JW, from KY, United States Written on March 12, 2022
The sling has a comfortable pad. If you buy the shotgun specific sling as I did there is a loop on both ends that tightens up around the barrel and the stock so there is not a need for swivels which I also purchased and didn't need. I actually had studs installed on my shotgun already. I do however like the sling. I have not taken it hunting yet, but seems to do a good job. Depending on which Butler Creek sling you purchase you may or not need swivels and studs.

Very comfortable and stable

by Baby Sasquatch, from CO, United States Written on March 21, 2021
This sling is extremely comfortable and stable. The rubberized bottom keeps the rifle in place on your shoulder and stops the forward swing that tend to happen because the stock is heavier than the barrel.
Best Used for:
  • outdoor hunting

Butler Creek Rifle/Shotgun Confort Sling

by bobcat, from MO, United States Written on May 3, 2020
I put this on a Remington Varmit Rifle that's about 9 lbs. very comfortable on shoulder. Price was reasonable.I was disappointed that this product did not come with the swivels that were included in the listing when I purchased it. I had to spend 10.00 extra at Walmart for the swivels so I could use this product. I didn't appreciate that. Just make sure you have swivels to mount to your gun. Otherwise I was happy with this product.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Does not come with swivels

High Quality Sling

by Korey Lettenmaier, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on April 22, 2018
This is a very high quality sling. It's comfortable, and easy to attach. When it is attached, it's quite secure. Not too stiff, and not too flimsy. The only gripe I have is that it has loops to hold a few rounds on the outside of the sling which aren't big enough to hold shotgun shells even though it is listed as a "rifle/SHOTGUN" sling. It does work for it's intended purpose though. I would recommend it if you're looking for a quality sling that's comfortable and easy to use.
Pros:
  • Ease of use
  • Comfort
Cons:
  • Small Ammo webbing
Best Used for:
  • Rifle or shotgun

Stitching Came Undone

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on November 26, 2011
I purchased this sling in order to put it on the brand new Cooper rifle that I had special ordered.
The first time that I used the sling the stitching came undone. My new Cooper rifle fell to the ground. The stock on the rifle was scratched.
Not impressed at all!!
