Makes the woods a walk in the park.

FMJ assurance at feed & penetration. 200 gr long shank bullet makes efficient use of its powder charge - unlike the light big blast muzzle dumps that hurt more to shoot. Naked brass makes better static shell pressure adhesion unlike nickeled brass or magnesium/aluminum alloy brass chells. It's quality stuff that you should be able to use for all self defense needs in all 50 states as far as being a non hollow point conventional projectile that meets the classic professional standard. The case mouth looks good & not overwhelmingly belled out that would be a feed reliability issue with other brands.

Adds comfort & breaks OEM butt print.

Written on Aug 11, 2025

It adds comfort while breaking the stark OEM mag butt print when conceal carried. I have always gone to Pearce before exploring any other base pad/plate. They're not as strong as OEM when dropped on tile & fully loaded. Mags from my experience fall apart spilling rounds everywhere you can slip & fall. I don't do + extensions because they haven't been reliable as just a finger pad extension without extra round capacity. They are way easier to remove for those who believe in mag cleaning & spring replacement.

Absolute best minus connector inline with OEM

Written on Aug 05, 2025

Faithful representation of the OEM minus connector. Drop in part that can't be improved leaving an easier trigger pull thats a little longer than stock giving more muzzle/grip control for straight on hits. Best one ever.

Fast on the draw no so easy to track back in.

Tactile exterior rubber prevents jacket interference & "printing." Multiple thumb pad activators to accommodate position height preference. Compact Glock sets high as subcompact, compact & and full-size pistols can be used so long as the rail attachment fits correctly. Non form fitting allows space around the pistol preventing "sear walk" with striker fired pistols when slide torsion occurs with pistol butts. Eliminates the known trigger toggle retention problems with operators shooting themselves in the leg that still remains unaddressed being thumb released & Florida compliant for commercial security use. The draw is incredible if you have to wear a jacket, but reholstering not as fast but is hardly a regulated compliance issue even though instructors will frown on them being they do not think on their own.

Not a drop in part.

The tennon stud doesn't enter the slide hole on the specified Glock types. The mold line is stepped up/down on the bottom. It might work if you use a plastic mallet, but I'm going to ask for a rerturn/refund for a manufacturer defect.

Works great.

The only difference I can see is the black coating on the springs as it works & fits just like OEM.

Nice sale item & lighter than then the Vottex

Written on May 02, 2025

OPMOD would be this website's house collaboration with Vortex. They are lighter than the typical Vortex exclusive offering of the same & the image quality is better than the Vanquish model offering less green tint & clearer than the porro prism. The magnifying dial is a smooth glide & eye boots are a little too big. Vanquish has smaller eye boots for the same size optical lens that fits right inside your orbital socket shielding peripheral light. It's not anything terrible, but does take longer to get to a view through. Takes a few seconds more to aquire an objective image unless you wear eyeglasses then it won't matter. The outer lens transition to the tube is without odd coloration at the end of the lenses. The diopter seems too easy & preset to go even though the image quality dials out with the magnifer wheel very quickly with an almost there - passed it situation. Something seems off with the diopter to image when the wheel moves magnification to aquire variable object. But the magnifier wheel is easy - breasy to follow moving objects showing a wide field view. Night views are okay so long as there's a light source to pick up colors & shades of contrast. I'm not one to grade product by price point but these can be improved on or otherwise be a good product for range spotting with the diopter. They are ergonomic, comfortable, lenses are better than how it functions, diopter at the ready (because you're going to need to adjust it for operating range viewing & mechanically

Fits well in BDU side pockets.

Made in the Philippines, there is a monochrome dullness with contrast even after the diopter is set. The image has a greenish gray black quality that would be sharper when compared to cheap tourist binoculars. What makes them better is how comfortable they are in the hands & the occular extension tube boots softly cup to the eyes such that you don't get sore or tired of using them. They are lighter than what you'd expect & you won't mind using them all day long if you have to. You can use them at night for closer magnication, but it's way more work getting oriented than with the OPMOD rooftop prism XD Vortex series. The total image looks flat, clear & constant without detractors from the tube or lens edge. The magnifying adjuster dial sticker is bigger than the indent it's affixed to, but the build quality is good for any all day job that probably will fit well in most cargo pant side pockets to save on neck strain. 3 stars for an okay image though. Everything else makes it a jem of an on the job utility tool.

More reticle options, instant on & practical battery option.

Written on Oct 03, 2023

Comes on the last setting it timed out on making it at the ready the instant its grabbed. The green reticle is so much faster to pick up than red. It has a dot, underscored dot, triangle, big broken corner triangle & dot within a triangle reticle option for setting. The extra reticle content makes finding the center easier through the smaller than the usual tube size that you can see with both eyes before winking one out. I didn't experience any parallex mounting it at the barrel nut junction as it would typically have a companion device behind it giving magi fixation/night vision (not included). So glad I got the green reticle version.
