Vortex does not provide the country of origin for their Diamondback HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars. However, the high-end models are produced in Japanese manufacturing sites whereas mid-range and affordable line of products are made in Philippines and China. I would recommend contacting Vortex directly for more specific information.
I bought these as an extra set of binos for in my truck. I have 3 other 10x42 binos including Zeiss and Swarovski. I am really impressed with thr clarity of these Vortex DB HDs...incredible "bang for the buck"! You will not be disappointed!
The view is very clear, the shoulder harness and pack is well made and I expect it to perform well in the field. Delivery was very quick, and the price from Planed was great.
