Excellent scope and surprised it was shipped with in a few days. Usually in stock means shipped in month or two. Definitely an improvement.so review has to be 200 characters, but I really do not have anything to say. Vortex makes good scope with clear glass for my limited knowledge.

Very nice cosmetically and very smooth recoil management over my original KAK flash can, aka the blunderbuss I had before. I get fireballs out the side, but that is no fault of the VG6 just my short barrel, top vision is not obstructed when firing and I was able to stay on target for easier and quick follow-up shots.

Only two cons are that it is very very loud with only earplugs, so I'd recommend some real hearing protection, and your friends at the range to the left and right will hate you. The side concision is immense. I've only shot this out doors (so not con yet) but for indoors I believe you will go deaf shooting with this muzzle device and not having proper hearing protection and may limit use for home defense, at least being able to hear anything afterwards if your not able to slip on some hearing protection.

Installation was a breeze with the included crush washer. I used and standard armorers wrench, Magpul BEV block and vise.

I would definitely recommend this product and I have to people who know me, but who am I? a nameless nobody to you, so take it with a grain of salt.

Buffer tube is cheap, mars easily, but completely is usable.
Spring is usable, but twangy (it's cheap and no expectation of quiet).
Buffer is a POS, use Loctite or duct tape on the plastic threads to prevent it form falling apart when dry charging (not the right word, but WTH). I'd just buy a new buffer...
