Not for serious police or military use. But still good for target shooting and maybe hunting.

I like GG&G products and I like that Specter included one of their mounts with the sling, but I'd like an option to buy the sling with a better mount. Here is why.

For light shooting, such as one full tube magazine, it does fine with no issues.
If you take a serious shotgun class, or spend a full day shooting buckshot and slugs; your shotgun may come apart.

The cause of the issue is because the GG&G sling mount goes under the mag extension nut. It will take some space on the mag tube extension and may not leave enough thread for the magazine tube extension, and the nut, to hold itself in place after several dozen rounds of 12g pound it loose over time.

Again, for light shooing it's not a big issue. You can check and tighten the mag extension between shoots.
But be careful if you take a serious shotgun class where you shoot at least 50 to 100 rounds or more. The mag extension may screw off while shooting. It happened to me twice already. The first time I thought it was user error but I have since consulted with some knowledgeable professionals who informed me of the thread issue that I mentioned.

The function and position of the sling would have otherwise been perfect. The quick adjust feature only allows it to be loosened quickly, not tightened quickly but that's not an issue for me. Loosening the sling while keeping it around my person is more important for my applications.

best shotgun sling I could find

This sling is awesome and good quality. Not perfect but close enough.
It fits as it should. I like that the sling is sized for specific guns with specific butt stock sizes. Although it is close to being universal size.

I don't use the quick adjust feature when shooting. I use it to adjust the sling and transition between wearing and not wearing body armor and different sizes of body armor. That feature alone is worh having.

But also it's great to have a functional combat sling that hangs on the side if the gun instead of underneath like a hunting sling.

At first, I thought the sling was overpriced but when it arrived I found out it's not. It actually comes with a good quality sling plate to mount the sling on the front and a metal sing quick adjuster. Seems fairly priced when you have it in person.

My one minor complaint is it can quick adjust tighter but its not as quick to loosen in a hurry. You have to open the quick adjust and then slide it loose.

almost perfect

I'd give it 4.5 stars from minor complaints but it is my favorite light and the one i use the most

I like the 90 degree angle and I was always against it until I bought it. Now I need to have it.
The size is compact and fits well in my hand and in my pocket
The battery is rechargeable but minor complaint is that I have to remove it to recharge it but...
That means I can replace the battery of it dies and...
There is no usb port or holes for water to leak inside it
The pocket clip is removable and it works upward and downward which is becoming the standard for pocket clips
But... Minor complaint is that it scratched the paint a little bit

You can half press the button for temporary light. And full press to keep it on like normal.
Its programmable for low, high and strobe but i keep mine on high.
Low could be useful but not for my applications.
Strobe is useless to me.

buy the other one.

So as far as I know this company makes two different mini butane torches. This one and the other one that uses disposable lighters.

The other one is amazing and works great.

This one is flimsy and cheap and mine stopped working within the first week of moderate use.

The extendable neck was really the only reason to buy it but the neck is flimsy and feels like it's going to break off at the lightest pull or drop.
The body feels like cheap, brittle plastic.
The button to turn it on feels like low quality. Refilling it wasn't too hard but adjustments suck. Low setting doesn't light up or keep a flame. Medium and high mode worked but only for a day or two.

I'm not sure if I got a defective lighter or if quality control isn't doing their job but mine stopped working in less than a week of light to moderate use. Go buy the other mini torch instead.

Lastly. It's too expensive for what it is. This should be $5.

Feels solid and works great

So the lighter does come included and is refillable. And the torch body holds the lighter exactly like any video you might have seen about this torch/lighter. The whole thing feels like good quality and its easy to use. I had a little trouble filling the lighter with butane but that's probably my own fault. If you're contemplating between getting this torch and the extendable one (from the same company), definitely get this one.

it's just ok

Written on Dec 03, 2021

The kit is very compact, and it does an ok job at cleaning .22 and my AR. However... There's definitely better kits out there but you get what you pay for. I found this on sale when I bought it though.
My chief complaint is the plastic brush attachment broke after barely any use. Maybe the plastic is just cheaply made.

Great medium between a hand stop and a grip

Written on Nov 17, 2021

I got the short one because it works as a happy middle ground between an angled grip, a hand stop, and a vertical grip. Its the best of 3 worlds for me. I use it more like an extended hand stop most of the time.

It lasted about a year of daily use and abuse.

The pouch is well designed and I really like the included rubber patch. I use this pouch daily and I open and close the zipper dozens of times a day. The tether cord holds my keys and the tether strap holds a mini multi-tool perfectly. I almost feel like it was made specifically for me.

However.....the zipper finally gave out one day, possibly from pulling a little too hard. This shouldn't happen though. There is another brand with a BIG BIRD as the name that makes the same pouch but higher quality and only 5 doll hairs more. I'd get that one.

it just works

its good enough to hold a .22 lever action with a scope.
the latches are positive and solid.
easy to carry and convenient.
its thin so i would not carry a shotgun with a side saddle but any thin rifle is ok.
maybe you can put fishing poles in it. i dont know... the website told me to write 200 characters minimum.

It has everything I needed for pens and a small notebook

Written on May 17, 2021

So far this has been a nice pouch. It holds pens, markers and a small notebook. I also keep some keys on the dummy cord and a multi tool on the flat cord. It's just what I needed.

I really like the included rubber patch.
